I'm not 100% sure about a Guest Assistance Card with my son. He's 8, and has mild-moderate Asperger's. Most of the time he's probably fine waiting in the normal line, but, when overstimulated/tired/etc. I think that the alternate waiting area would be a very nice option to have when we do need it.
Are there any other suggestions/accommodations that families with Asperger's kids typically ask about other than using the alternate waiting area?
When we ask about the GAC, do we need to bring any kind of paperwork, etc. from the doctor?
