Ok, I have tried, I mean really tried, but this not planning and going with the flow thing is freaking me out really freakin' bad. I only have one ADR, which I am ok with only having one. At least it make sense because it is with Mike and Shrek at the HBD for lunch, which I am very much looking forward to.

I have a basic park attack plan, but that's it.

04/26 EP and maybe MK PM EMH
04/27 MK
04/28 DHS (HBD with Mike & Shrek) maybe head over to EP in the late afternoon
04/29 EP
04/30 AK
05/01 MK and maybe EP PM EMH

I sorted my trading pins and I put a new hat on Bubba Duck. We bought trip buddy hats on sale in December, so now Bubba Duck has Sorcerer Mickey ears for this trip instead of the classic mouse ears that he had last year. Other than this, no other plans have been made.

I feel so unprepared. :scared:

It's easy really! You get up in the morning and ask yourself "What do I feel like doing today?" :thumbsup2

We do the same thing. We don't make plans we just go the flow. I figure our lives our pretty unstructured, why should our vacations be any different.

And everyone stands around looking at one another (even if it's only two of you) saying, "I dunno. Whadda you wanna' do?" ;)

She's flying solo, so it's her call! Well unless Bubba Duck gets a vote! :confused3

I'd have to agree. We canceled both of the ADRs we had made, which scared me a little........but it turned out for the best. On our first night I was expecting we'd eat at either a counter service place or somewhere slightly nicer, but we wound up eating at California Grill. There's no ADR required to eat at the bar, baby! :thumbsup2 Playing it by ear was really fun because we didn't feel tied down to any specific place or time. I say give it a try. Planning on what park you spend the day at based off of where you have a reservation for that evening isn't always the best thing in my opinion. :confused3

Be a free spirit! :thumbsup2

Or the sushi bar! :thumbsup2 Shhhhhh! Dont let the secret out!

Both have their benefits! If you sit at the Sushi Bar you get a view of the kitchen, quite a site to watch those guys work!

At the regular bar we have a sister on duty! Cant remember her name, but she is an aswome bartender! :thumbsup2

Is it a "sister-sister".....or a "mister-sister"? :confused3 Our bartender/server was a very handsome 40-something gentleman named Ray. :thumbsup2

Ah! A solo trip. I managed to miss that tiny detail. :teeth:

Heck, then all bets are off! Go without a plan and just bask in the glory of the solo traveler! :teeth:

I ate at the sushi bar last month when I was solo. Had an awesome dinner! Had 2 appy's and then some sushi! (and a few glasses of my favorite wine). And I got to see wishes too.

I didn't meet Sister.. :( But I did meet one of the managers. ;)

I usually plan, plan , plan! However last time we planned nothing. I think it made us try things. I actually liked it! Would I do it everytime? No, but everyonce in a while it feels good. :thumbsup2

One thing that I didn't post, that I swear, I did not forget was happening, I am meeting Koolaidmoms & C&G'sMama on the 1st at MK for a Dole Whip or something. I didn't post it on the board because we set this up through PM's and I didn't know if they would mind me saying that we were going to be meeting on the open board. Just so they and everyone else here knows, yes, ladies, I am very much looking forward to meeting with you both! :goodvibes

I am attempting to get into the go with the flow thing. Bubba Duck isn't a very demanding trip buddy. Just stick a Mickey hat on him and don't trick him into drinking Beverly and he's pretty easy to deal with.....well, occasionally he begs for a penny to throw into a fountain, but everyone deserves a chance to wish while they are at WDW right? ;)

I am looking to trade out about 150 pins. That will be the main focus of my trip, well that and soaking up a positive atmosphere. I am hoping to do some Kim Possible missions. I have never watched a complete Kim Possible episode, but the new missions thing that they offer at Epcot sounds like fun. If I ride 10 rides during the week, I will be happy. It's going to be pretty laid back. I am considering the bar tip. I am not much of a bar person, but since WDW is smoke free, that helps.

First question I'd ask is what's for dessert?

As long as there is a Dole Whip and a Mickey bar somewhere along the way, I leave WDW a happy girl. :thumbsup2

I make ADR's and then plan the rest of my vacation time around where I'm going to be eating.

I won't say that Corey and I go that far with it, but in planning out an itinerary, knowing which park for which day, then planning the ADR's and then planning around the ADR's is the usual way that I map it all out. Without ADR's I do feel a bit lost. :confused3 Corey and I don't do TS every day. Mostly we prefer to do a TS breakfast, afterall, breakfast is the most important meal of the day and if it gets you into the park earlier and prepared to be at the front of the lines at rope drop, so be it. :thumbsup2

Lindy, you give me stress.
I think there was ONE day where we said whatever bus showed up first is the park we would go to, but it wasn't fun enough to do it again.
On the other hand, it might be good that you don't want a bunch of ADRs because it sounds like the new system sucks. I have high hopes that IPO will be able to book our stuff this year. Next year it looks like we'll be bringing Pop-Tarts and eating CS the whole time. :sad2:
Whoever decided this 90 day thing was a good idea needs to be tied to the back of a trolley and dragged up & down Main St. until dead. 90 days is a nightmare. Even DH is mad about it. Like he said, we spent $17,000 on DVC and now we may be stuck eating counter service on every trip for the next 49 years. :sad2:

I am envious of your lunch with my 2 favorite Florida individuals! Although next time I plan to have a kiddie escort and hit the drinks with Shrek ;)

I've never had a Dole Whip. Can I still go? This may be the time I'll have to try one:goodvibes.

6 Weeks from tonight and we're in Epcot with the kids for Garden Grill. 6 weeks and 5 days and we are in Epcot without the kids at Le Cellier. I'm liking this "Neverland Club" thing.

Um, have you had your meds adjusted lately? If the answer is "No" or "What meds?" please seek shrink time immediately! Wow! There is something distinctly unmagical about your punishment ideas.

I do agree that the ADR situation is a bit messed up right now. It makes it easier for me to feel good about not going back to WDW during the F&W Fest with Corey though. Between the mess that is the ADR system, no nighttime adult entertainment options that appeal to either of us, and the fact that our oldest cat will need to be boarded in addition to the dogs on all future trips, um, I am feeling pretty good about canceling.

OMG, you have never had a Dole Whip? Ok, we are going to have to get you one. I prefer the Dole Whip float....pineapple soft serve icecream with pineapple juice. YUM!
