We have been watching a great rate on Expedia for this resort and was wondering if anyone else had stayed there. It almost looks too good to be true for $100/night for the 6 of us. Anyone?

I never heard of them until I looked up their website. We love Mike Ditka...the Bears haven't been the same since he was fired! The resort looks very nice.

We just got back from a 3 night stay there. We paid the low rate for a 1 bedroom that had 2 pull out sofas in the living room for 4 of us. It was pretty good for the price, although they do charge a $10/night "resort fee" for very few amenities (internet, nice pool, fitness center, indoor basketball). Each unit has a full kitchen, which was a big plus for us. Convenient to 192 and Vineland road...10-12 minutes to WDW...Wal-Mart within walking distance. No on-site restaurant or bar. Walls are thin and we could hear the neighbors, as their little ones were pretty "active" at night (they could probably hear us too!).

It ain't the Ritz, but it was fine for the price and very convenient to where we wanted to go. We'd stay there again if they offered the same price promotion.

Just trying to figure out the bed situation. What size bed did the one bedroom have? Also, are the 2 pull out sofas full size beds? We were thinking we had to do a 2 bedroom, but with 2 pull out sofas maybe the 1 bedroom will do.

Also, did they pester you about taking any tours or anything? My husband would not enjoy that at all!

Was it a huge complex? We would like to be near the pool. Possibly you can request placement.

Thanks for the report. I really wanted to hear first hand that it was ok. It looks very nice in the photos.

King size in bedroom; 2 full size pull out sofas

No Tours (its not a timeshare; actual owners of each unit rent them out through a central mgmt company)

Its not that big a complex aand the pool is pretty convenient to each unit.

Hope this helps!

Check out the other Mike DItka resort too- Lighthouse Key. We have booked there for next March but havent been there yet- however it is the 2nd highest rated hotel on Trip Advisor for the area and there is a photo tour on UTube. Hope that helps
