Mikaela was chosen to be a Big Give recipient!! We are so incredibly blessed for sure! I have seen some of the items this great group spends their time on and WOW is all I can say.

I look forward to receiving and sharing the items with you through pictures.

Canjunfan, to be honest I haven't done much planning at all. I've got some ADRs but that's only because I 'had' to I'm just not a planner -- which is quite different than what I've seen on many of the other PTRs Those ladies probably think I'm nuts!

I have and ADR to Crystal Palace so Mikaela can eat with Pooh and his Friends, Garden Grill and Hollywood & Vine. Still thinking about the Dine With Shamu at SeaWorld but probably need to really decide before everything is taken for our SeaWorld day. Other than those things I'm totally just going with the flow and do what Mikaela can handle. Am I nuts?

It sounds like you have the perfect plan!! Sometimes you just know your child, and your way of doing things best!! (but please, dont spread this idea around - I wouldnt want my dh and dd to find out about it!! )

you are going at our favorite time of year - of course its partly due to dd birthday!!

Does Mikaela go to a preschool? She sure has had her share of challenges - and you seem to be very strong!! I went and read your blogspot - I love the crocs - I think the H&V buffet will be lots of fun - it can be loud in there - but all the trip reports I've read say its a fun one - I wouldnt worry about the Playhouse place - I'm sure they'll make sure Mikaela gets up close - I was reading one mom's experience - so you have the perfect plan - to just let go and enjoy!!

and if you've read any of Maroo's reports on GKTW - you have the right of it - enjoy that place!! I imagine you need to like ice cream tho....

Holy Canoli! We only have 26 days before we're in Florida! It seems longer away when I say 'a little less than 4 weeks'. ACK!

I need to bust bottom and get busy making sure I have everything we'll need to take.

I did go ahead and make reservations to Dine With Shamu at SeaWorld. I had been debating it but decided to go ahead. I think Mik will like it -- if I can get her to look up from her plate long enough to even see Shamu Plus, we'll get a picture with the big guy and VIP seats to his show. Good times!!

Also, I asked our Wish Coordinator to move our 'send off' party to after we come home. I have a very busy work week prior to our trip and thought it would be too hectic to try to fit in a send off party. So we will be having a 'welcome home' party the weekend after we get back. This will give me the opportunity to show off the pictures we took as well as pass out any gifts I bought for my family and friends. I think it'll be better this way even if selfishly for myself.

Not at all!! As excited as I am, there a bit of anxiety as well. But I know everything will come together just fine.

Not worried about anything big actually. Just worried about how Mik will do on the trip seizure wise. Will I get lost trying to get into and out of the parks? I keep thinking I'll be trying to get to MK and end up at AK or something. I hope all the busses, boats, monorails, etc aren't too confusing for me! Will I pack enough of the right things? Just silly stuff like that. Luckily nothing too serious! But thanks so much for your concern. I know I'll be fine, but I'll have to have a bit of drama leading up

Yeah!! Mik's first Big Give package arrived and it is FABulous! It is perfect for Mikaela and she loves the stuffed Pooh. Perfect I tell ya!

Thanks again! Mikaela will be using her backpack tomorrow for her 'supplies' (pull ups, wipes, medicines) for an after school trip to Ms Barbie's. I'm just so giddy!

I got your message and Thursday is perfect. We will probably be around that whole afternoon and evening...thinking of just doing a half day at Sea World.

Also, I was reading about your worry if anything happens with Mikaela on the trip, and I wanted to let you know that we would be happy to be a resource should you need anything. The 11-14th we will have 4 adults (and two cars), and the 15-17th there will still be two of us, so we will always have an extra set of hands around. I'll give you my cell phone number and if you need anything at all, just let us know...

We got another Big Give package yesterday and it contained 2 cute outfits. I am not sure really who they are from, but Thank You to the kind person from Tuscaloosa, AL!



Here is what we got. The first outfit we pulled out was a cute pink tshirt with a Minnie Mouse embroidered on along with some sequined hearts.

Here are some closeups. First is of the Minnie Mouse embroidered on. Noticed the bow she has, matches the pants.

The next outfit we pull out is a fall/Halloween themed one. CUTE! The color came out more blue on the shirt, but it’s a really pretty shade of purple.
