Mika Is My New Obsession

They are playing his "Grace Kelly" video quite a bit on the Logo network and even on MTV. I really love that song, so I went to his myspace to check out his other stuff. When I heard "Relax, Take It Easy" I was sold. I preordered his album on Amazon, but I had to grab a few tracks on LimeWire. Everything is killer. He's been compared to the Scissor Sisters, Freddie Mercury, and Elton John. I can't wait until the 26th now

I saw "Grace Kelly" on MTV the other day. My first thought was, "Wow! MTV still plays music?!?" That was followed by "Wow, this guy is sooooo family!"

I've only heard Grace Kelly so far. My brother downloaded the song and played it for me this past weekend. I had heard a snippet before on MTV, but never the whole song. Tried to buy a CD today, but I guess it hasn't been released in the US yet? I don't know...I got some Scissor Sisters to hold me over until my amazon order comes in.

Mika's album won't be released in the US until the 27th. If you go to his myspace page you can sample some of his other tracks. Speaking of the Scissor Sisters, I just saw them live in Philadelphia last Friday. They are another favorite of mine. Good stuff!

I love Mika. I saw him a couple of weeks ago at a gig and the best thing was the tickets that only cost £7 ($13) He did a really good gig with girls handing out lollypops (if you have heard the song you will get it). I doubt if his next tour will be so cheap plus no doubt tickets will be sold through ticketmaster and I will pay more than £7 in booking fees.

Alright, im loving this thread! I have to agree Mika is a GOD! I just heard about him recently and WOW!!! I cant get enough of his music.

I have his album in my car and in my stereo at home. My fav songs are "Grace Kelly, Stuck in the middle, my interpretation, and lollipop". Soooo good!
