Hello DISers!
I haven’t posted on this board before, but just realized my question I posted to resorts might get a better answer here.
My 10 year old son gets debilitating migraines. They are controlled well at home as long as he is on his preventative but his primary trigger is fluorescent lights. He does have a set of glasses he wears that filter out the wavelength and that does mitigate it somewhat but not completely.
I am trying to find out what kind of light bulbs are used in the resort rooms, specifically All Star Music family suites. If they are CFL this will not work. I can probably find a way to pack some other light bulbs in our luggage. Or is this something Disney can accommodate by changing our light bulbs? I really have no idea. This is a new issue that has cropped up since our last Disney trip and I completely forgot about it until this evening. We don’t have a lot of time to figure it out either as we fly in next Saturday. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you!
