Midwest making a comeback

quite some time ago there it was on the news about the possibility of Midwest making a come back

haven't heard anything for quite some time on it

but the other day there was an ad looking for people to apply for jobs with Midwest

I sure hope this is true and for sure there coming back

I don't think it will be like it was with the 2 across leather seats --actual meals on regular plates and of course the chocolate chip cookies

just wondering if anyone else has heard this

They were the ones with the larger seat, right? Oh, that would be awsome! I flew Midwest a couple of times and loved it!

According to this Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article, Midwest Express signed a lease in April of this year for office space at the airport in Milwaukee.

“Establishing our office is a significant step toward fulfilling our commitment to returning Midwest Express Airlines to the sky,” Greg Aretakis, president of Midwest Express Airlines, said in the statement. “We are looking forward to establishing formal office operations in the coming weeks and continuing on our path toward takeoff.”

Having a formal office space is a positive step. That said, I'd guess that it will be several years before planes are in the air. There are a ton of regulatory steps necessary to get governmental approval to transport passengers.

You're right. People are getting the airline service they are willing to pay for. But some of us would be happy to pay for something a bit more comfortable.
