Just got home (pooped) - can post details later. But if have questions about MWE or Dollar, let me know & I'll try to respond.

Hi Ivanova! I hope you had a nice trip! I'm flying on Midwest Express next week. Not to Olrando, but to Phoenix. Will want to use Midwest Express to Orlando next time. It will be my first flight in 17 years. (Terrible fear of flying) Can you tell me about this airline? I've heard very good things, and really wanted to use it for my "maiden voyage". I appreciate the info.!:)

Oh my! We're spoiled now!! I just wish they flew more legs out this way (Calif.). :D

Seating is 2 seats on each side of the aisle (no dreaded middle seats). And they are the wider, leather seats you find in business or 1st class on other airlines.

Our meals inflight were:
lunch - grilled chicken ceasar salad. VERY good.
breakfast - choice of cheese omelette meal or yogurt/fruit meal (DD and I went for eggs, DH absolutely HATES eggs and went for the yogurt/fruit). The eggs were HOT and delicious. Breakfast also comes with complimentary champagne (we passed).
dinner - italian grilled chicken (grilled breast with marinara sauce & cheese on top of it) with salad & dinner roll, dessert was key lime cheesecake (only thing my DD didn't like about their food)
lunch - sandwich with ham AND turkey, pickle spear, crackers & cheese spread

Lunches & dinners also come with complimentary red or white wine. And at lunch, since the ovens are used for keeping food hot (like at breakfast & dinner) they bake fresh chocolate chip cookies onboard!! WOW!! And when they serve sodas, they give you the whole can (instead of trying to serve 2 or 3 people out of one can).

Also, I do know that they will do special meals (i.e. Kosher, Diabetic, etc.) you just need to give them sufficient notice.

Check-in was flawless. All the employees were extremely friendly, nice, and helpful. The flight attendants were very attentive, and seemed to be constantly cruising the aisle to see if anyone needed anything.

I'd fly them again in a heartbeat, regardless of cost. And I would recommend them to anyone & everyone.

You will love this airline - we always try to fly them from Milwaukee. We had to fly Northwest over spring break and I was just dreading it but they actually had their flights go very smoothly. Midwest is in a class all its own though. They go non-stop and the seats are great - we, too, would pay a bit more if we had too. The prices out of Milwaukee have been very competitive lately - we just got 193.00 down to Orlando in October.

WE are flying ME. It is a great airline. My question concerns Dollar - I have signed up for Fastlane and have a minivan for our stay. Is the Dollar location convenient for ME flyers? How does Fastlane work? Was your car clean and relatively new? Thanks in advance for any response!

Can't help you with Fastlane.

We had a minivan ... Dodge caravan, extended version (extra 18" of cargo space) ... very clean, seemed fairly new.

The rental car counters are close to baggage claim, so once you get off the plane you take a people mover sort of train to the main terminal and follow the signs to baggage claim & ground transportation.

Check in went smoothly at Dollar. The only drawback was the line (probably was about 15-20 minutes long when we got there), but that may be where Fastlane helps.

We always fly ME if we can. Only 2 seats on each side of the aisle, good food, good service, and we can fly non-stop, which is a big plus with 2 small children. I think you will enjoy it. This time we are flying ATA because they were offering fantastic rates, but usually I will pay the higher price for ME because of the convenience. I hope it works out well for us. We leave for WDW in 7 days. I can't wait!:Pinkbounc :earsgirl: :Pinkbounc :earsgirl: :Pinkbounc
