ABC News is claiming that there were 77 reports of tornadoes in the Midwest yesterday. If you are in that area, please let us know you are okay.

High winds and tons of rain, but no tornadoes in my immediate area. They are thinking there was a small touchdown in one of the outlying areas.

We live in the area and most schools are closed. We are very blessed and everyone in the family is fine. Say a prayer for so many others. We are in Tazewell Co. Illinois.

In southern Michigan we have some power outages but schools are open in my area.

Lots of wind in NE Ohio, but some some of my co-workers lost power for a few hours. We were pretty Blessed here. I pray for my Neighbors west of here.

Lots of high winds here in St. Louis and weird storms, but no tornadoes at least. We did have some serious wind damage, but the smaller towns around us got it a lot worse I think.

We are very blessed. Myself, DD15 and DS2 were home when the warning came out. We huddled in a "fort" behind the couch. Meanwhile, the weather channel reported about a touchdown and distruction of a trailer park near Paducah. Then they described the doppler directly over our county and they named off neighboring towns.

The sun came out and we are fine--no wind damage, power stayed on.

Meanwhile, DS19 in Oklahoma made it through fine. DS19 at UK is also fine.

Then the storm moved on to Pennsylvania, where DH is overnight, waiting for next load. He texted this morning that his load had been delayed, and unfortunately several of the company's trucks had been knocked down by the winds and tornados. He didn't know about driver injuries, but he was saying prayers of thanks that he was not on the road.

I live about 10 minutes away from Washington, Il. One of the towns that has been in the news all day today. The damage around here is hard to believe.

Seeing the pictures from out in Oklahoma earlier this year, those images break your heart, but its different when you see the pictures and you know what that road looked like the day before and now there is nothing there.

I have friends that have lost everything but thankfully my family is ok. Its like this whole area is kind of in shock still everyone wants to help but right now no one really can yet.
