Midway question..

Nothing really to add here, just wanted to thanks for the great info.. flown out of Midway once in my life, thought I could sneak in real quick.. hopefully the kids can handle a late night and still be at MK for RD the next morning..:)

Sounds like you are going with the later flight.
I mentioned your situation to DH and he said there is no way he would leave at 4pm for 6pm flight and we live closer (near I355 and I55). than Joliet

Another question..

For an early Dec flight, am I better off to just buy tickets as soon as they go on sale or normally better off waiting and see if they go down?

Are you looking at SW and will you be flying again within a year? If so, you can buy your tickets at a price that you like and then if they go down, you can get a credit for the difference - however it must be used within a year.

What is a good price for RT from MDW to MCO on a Tue/Sun in early December? SWA goes on sale for these dates next week. Thanks

I used to be able to do RT from ORD for a little over $200, no problem, but I've been looking just for fun, and I'm not sure you can do it for less than $300 now. Try plugging in dates that are available for SW now and see what you come up with; that should at least give you an idea.

We ended up taking a 7:30 flight from Midway, leave Joliet by 4:00, hoping to get to park, ride and fly lot by 5:00... that plenty of time?
