Midsize SUV at Alamo - anyone had it ?

Hi
we are thinking about renting a Midsize SUV from Alamo for our trip to the World in August this year.
Anybody with experience with this car category ? Which car do you normally get for that ?
Will the car be large enough for 2 adults and 2 kids (14 and 11) ?
We're from Germany so not really familiar with US cars and everybody here tells you different stories...

We always get the mid size SUV's from Alamo. They are usually a Ford, Toyota, Kia, or Jeep. Last year we had the Jeep and it was plenty big enough for our family of 4 - 2 adults, 2 kids ages 16 and 19 - plus room for all the luggage.
