Midsize Alamo MCO

Anyone recently back from renting a midsize from Alamo? What was the selection like. Looking at other threads, looks like the HHR is in abundance. I would actually prefer a corrola or focus.. the HHR is hideous lol. It's also a bit bigger than what I actually want.

Also, say the HHR is the only one available, or another big car, am I forced to take them even though the reservation said corrola and that's what i wanted? Or can I downgrade to a smaller compact car?

Your reservation says "Corolla or similar" no make of car is guaranteed. You would have to talk to someone in the garage booth to downgrade, but, it can be done, but, your rate may not change.
I agree, the HHR is hideous, Chevy's answer to the Chrysler hideous thing. If they don't have what you want on the line, just ask, they will try to accommodate you.

random question... say i have 2 reservations, one with A and one with B. If i go to B and I don't like the cars available, is it possible to decline and go with B instead?

Are you talking about the A and B sides of the airport? If so, you don't need separate reservations for them. Your reservation is good at either side.
If that is not what you mean, could you clarify it a bit?

if i had a reservation at dollar and one at budget. if i don't like the dollar cars can i just say i want to decline the rental and go to budget?
