Rented from alamo 2 weeks ago and got a brand new Kia Sorrento. we all LOVED this car and would consider buying one for our next vehicle. Hard to believe we got it for $96 for the entire week including all fees and taxes! I was quoted $116 which i thought was great but we returned it a couple hours earlier than planned and it was only $96!

3 trips since last year, only have seen very basic Saturn Vues...yeech. I drive a Rendezvous, wish they would have had one available.

Week before Pres. Day last year, we had a mid-size SUV reserved for over 6 months prior, arrived around noon & all they had was a pt cruiser parked on the aisle.LOL

we complained but, told...so sad, too bad.

I did get a small refund applied to my CC, would have been a disaster if I had more than 3 people in our party since the cruiser's trunk space only held 2 suitcases standing upright...grrr.

so alamo does not charge you in the beginning, they wait until you return the car

We picked up at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday 8/5.

When we went to the lot, there weren't any Mid Size SUVs on the Alamo row. When I went to the little building in the parking lot, they told me to take any minivan we wanted.

We had a very nice Montana for the week for $96.00. Can't beat that with a stick! I think we paid more in valet fees/tips than we did to rent the car.
