This will be our first time visiting Disney in November and we are wondering if its still nice enough to visit the waterparks. I looked at the historical weather data and it seems warm enough but it would be nice to hear from people who have been to Disney in mid November.

It's usually still very warm but there's a possibility it could be cold. Count on hot weather though

During November only one of the water parks will be open. I believe Typhoon lagoon will be closed in November of this year.

We were in WDW last November and we went to the pool one day for a quick dip. It was windy and the pool was warm but I wouldn't have been happy spending all day at a water park. But it really depends on what is "too cold" for your family.

We have had record lows and record highs in November in the past so you never know.I agree with @babynala it really depends on your families comfort level with "cold" temps.

WAIT until you are at WDW and can decide (even on the day that you choose) to either add the Water Park option or the Hopper option...
or neither, or both.

It costs only $26 to add the Water Park option to a ticket that has the Hopper option.

And, it doesn't cost any more or less to add either or both of these options after you
are at WDW, and even after you have begun using your tickets.

I have been there in the first two weeks of November and while it can be nice and warm, you can also get those cold fronts that extend all the way down to FL and cool it down considerably for several days. There were some years swimming was fine, and others where it was too cold. But I think the norm is the warmer side.

we have a fee one day "fun" voucher from our TA. Planned a day for Typhoon Lagoon the week of November 13-19, but plan to make FP+ for MK that day in case the weather is not good. kids are excited to go to a waterpark, hope the weather works out.

I agree that for November, just wait and see and add the water park pass later if needed. November can vary from 40F to 90F, but is usually cool in the mornings reaching 75-80F mid day. Keep a day open for it and maybe just go to a park or Disney Springs if it is too cold.

Thanks for all the great information. We are from Nova Scotia so we are used to the cold but we do want it to be enjoyable. I like the idea of deciding when we are there and I don't know why I didn't think of that.

The advice to buy addons when needed has saved me a lot of money over the years. You can't get a refund if you don't use it but it doesn't cost you more to buy it when you do instead of in advance.. I would recommend this strategy for any time of year or any addon.

And, you can even wait to add the upgrade at a ticket booth right in front of a Water Park, just before you enter.

I'm from Maine and went to Disney one year 11/23-12/1. During that time we only went in the pool once, it was a very cold year. Even with us being from the north, it was too cold to swim most days in our opinion. I agree with everyone else to wait until you get there.

We go every thanksgiving. We've had some years where it is hot and we're in tanks and flip flops and other years where it was 40* and we had to go buy sweaters and jackets because we didn't have warm clothes. Some years it is warm. Last year we went a day early to do Stormalong Bag before our timeshare week and we had to force ourselves to stay in the pool for long periods of time. It wasn't that enjoyable.
I agree with those who said to wait and make the decision once you are there!

Well November can be very nice highs in the mid to low 80's and lows could get down into the 50's but last year it was in the 90's until December but November thru feb can be hit or miss. But if it happens to get col it's only for a few days. Nov also begins the dryer months. So the humidity isn't at amazon levels. I agree with other posters wait to buy your WP tickets
