What are the dates of the Halloween take-down and Christmas decorations in November? My boss is gone the first two weeks of November, so it would be a good time for me to take time off too. Just wondering what things will be shut down, etc.

Small World will certainly be down to install the Holiday overlay (usually it goes down before Halloween and re-opens with the start of the holidays). Space Mountain is likely to be down the Monday after Halloween for removal of Ghost Galaxy. I would guess the Big Thunder Jamboree area will also be closed starting the Monday after Halloween for the conversion to the Holidays and not likely to re-open until the start of the Holidays.

No announcement has been made. Disneyland added the Avengers Marathon Event in mid-November, which has kind of messed up the usually guesses of when the holiday season will start. As soon as that info is released, it'll be announced over in the Christmas SupertThread. Here's the link to the SuperThread:

IaSW typically closes at the end of October and then re-open mid-November, depending on when the Holiday-season starts. They haven't said whether or not the holiday overlays would happen next year, but they're pretty popular, so there isn't really any reason to think that they would forgo them next year, despite the 60th anniversary. They haven't announced the dates for 2014, but for 2013 IaSW was closed from 10/21 through 11/7/13 (re-opened on the 8th).
