So, I would like to ask all of the dis'ers with that magical crystal ball that you all have pixiedust: . My family and I will be at WDW may 19-24th and am checking out the EMH schedule and am wondering if we will need it.
We are hoping that the crowds will not be bad at all, but we also know that it changes every year. We were there last year at the same time and it was awesome! We had the best time we ever had. :lovestruc This year we are taking a buddy for DS they are both 12 and we plan on letting them go to DQ while we shop for a few hours. They will have a cell on them so we can still keep in touch if needed. We thought that we would do a 1/2 day @ BB or TL and 1/2 day @ DTD.
Oh, yeah, DS friend has NEVER been to WDW before! I am so excited to show him an awesome time! I even called him and told him to watch Disney on a Dime on Travel Channel. LOL!
Anyway, any ideas or suggestions are always welcome.
:disrocks:

When we went with my DS and his cousin, I made notecards with simple questions about Disney movies and what characters were in them to pass the time while standing in line for rides. You can get a lot of ideas from Disney Trivia. Hidden Mickeys are also fun for the kids to try and find. Just do a search on them and you'll get lots of info on where they are. And don't forget the pressed pennies.....Have a great time!

Personally, I am a fan of EMH regardless of the time of year. The wait times for your favorite attractions are significantly less during EMH, and you feel less rushed.

Enjoy your trip!

we will be there the same week !! (17th through 26th!):thumbsup2
we always go the the EMH parks....I think it is worth it.
we also carry the hidden mickey book with us (it was given to my husband as a gift from our disney loving friends!) The kids and he really get into and it makes the time waiting in lines (usually this time of year, the waits are only 10-20 minutes though) and at restaurants waiting for food go by fast!
have fun!

Thanks everyone!!!!!
I love going in May!!! We've been in October before and it seemed busier than May.
We will make use of a.m. emh and maybe some late emh ........if we still have the energy and strength. :rotfl2:

Alright Gomez Gang,..........I'll keep an eye out for a man with his head buried in a book looking for hidden mickeys! :lmao: Just kidding.
Have a great vacation!!! Maybe we'll bump into one another.

I'm going to WDW for the weekend of May 16-19.

Been checking webisites to see if I paid too much.

I'm noticing that there is a limited amount of Disney hotels available that weekend.

It sounds like it may be busy!! I did not expect it to be soo busy that weekend....feeling a bit bummed right now.

maybe because it is mothers day that week? Also close to memorial day weekend. We are going may 22nd. Dont be bummed think of yourself relaxing eating the ears off a choc mickey bar YUMM!

We are also going in May (17-26th). I hope the crowds are not too bad and hopefully the weather will be great too!!!!!:cool1:

The hotels being filled or not is not really a very good indication of crowds. Mother's Day weekend is one that does not attract Florida locals as much as other holidays weekends, so expect the crowds to be lower.

Hey Gomez Gang and FirstTimer03! We will be there the same week! Can't wait!:cool1:

Ditto! Wow, must be a popular week for DIS'ers. I went at this same time last year and the lines were minimal...until it was closer to Memorial day.

We are going around this time too. I hope the crowds are good. We will be taking advantage of the EMH.
