Mid-May Is FOTL necessary?

I am planning on spending a couple of days at US/IOA after my cruise and WDW vacation. Right now I am debating one night at the RPH or just staying on Disney property (cheaper and less hassle changing resorts) How crowded are the parks on a Monday and Tuesday (5/22 and 5/23) ? BTW, this is a solo trip.

the parks are getting more crowded during that time, but weekdays aren't bad. solo, you can use the single rider lines on some attractions. the parks should be on relatively normal operating hours meaning 9-6 or 9-7. but I still suggest the overstated rule...time yourself to be at the gates by 8:45. have fun.

I wouldn't hassle with the resort change. just be ready to pay the Mears or cab fare.

Thanks...I am planning on renting a car while there so transportation won't be a problem. I have always been a "rope drop" person.
