Mid-May Crowds? FOTL Pass Needed?

We weren't going to do US/IOA this time, but that new ticket deal has me thinking we should at least visit a couple days during our WDW visit in mid-May............how are the crowd levels during this time? I'd rather not buy the FOTL pass, so I'm hoping it is slow enough to do without.


Is there a website like the unofficial website that gives crowd levels for US/IOA????

The crowds aren't usually bad in mid-May but there seems to be more people than expected from what I can gather. You can wait and see if you need the Express Plus passes and purchase them at either park if you do.

Here's a link to the park hours. You can gauge the crowd level by the closing hour. It looks like the parks close at 7pm during mid to late May so the crowds shouldn't be too bad. HOWEVER...with The Simpsons opening in mid-May (for now anyway) the Studios will be A LOT more crowded. I would recommend getting there early and heading the the Studios first thing.

If you can take two days...do it! It's too much to do and see to cram it all into one day.

this seems to be school trip time as well - not all of them buy the Express pass

wait until the morning of....judge the crowds then buy them
