We usually go in June and are planning a trip arriving on the 14th this year. The weather is usually very hot (92-98 degrees) and very humid. Not to discount the usual "God has opened the heavens" rain showers. They will dump a tremendous amount of rain out of nowhere and then they are gone.
As for the crowds, it is very crowded. For any of the major rides they are 30-60 minutes, so you must fast pass to stay out of the elements. Just remember that it does get hotter in July and August and the crowds are worse in July and Christmas week!! Enjoy and know that it is all part of the "magic"!
From experience, it is hot, but moreso, very humid. The humidity is rediculous and I live in South Texas. The crowds are light in the beginning of June, but get quite heavy by the middle of the month. We will never visit in June again.
We went mid-June 2003, and never again. HOT. I walked out of our room and wilted. But I am one of those who can't take the heat. My kids and DH were pretty steamy too, but they seemed to do well. Plenty of water and you should be fine. And we had a rain shower every day, usually mid-late afternoon, and never very long. Which was cool, we threw on ponchos and then had shorter lines for a bit because alot of people ran for the buses.
Crowds are up, but not unbearable. Use fastpass and you'll do fine. I don't even bother with the crowd level sites anymore. WDW is crowded most of the time, so we just expect it. That way, if we get a nice, uncrowded day, it is like a little surprise!!! lol
