Am I the only one who thinks it is odd that the hotels don't have microwaves... even the low end hotels have them :) I only noticed because last time we were there I went to make microwave popcorn and the Deluxe Hotel, Animal Kingdom Lodge didn't have one :)

Do the other hotels? And no, I wouldn't change a hotel I was just curious :)

DVC resorts have microwave ovens in each villa. You can also use the microwave oven in the food court/counter service area. At AKL, you could have used the microwave at Mara.

Most if not all of the Disney hotels have microwaves in the food courts. The DVC resorts have them in the rooms. I am pretty sure Mara at AK has a microwave.

I know all the values(if you consider that low end) have microwaves in the food court area.

I travel a lot for work and I get to stay at very nice hotels. The most luxurious hotels tend to have no microwave, fridge, or free internet. Mid-range to value, yes. Deluxe, boutique, five star -- definitely not.

All Disney resorts have a microwave for guest use in the quick service dining area, or food court.

If you'd like one in your room, they can be found in all DVC villas, in the cabins at Fort Wilderness, and in the family suites at ASMu and, coming soon, AoA.

In the hotel world outside of WDW, you most often see microwaves in relatively inexpensive hotels and motels that offer small suite-style accommodations. You don't see them in mid and upper range hotels, generally.

Not a big deal... I was just curious... I didn't even think of the food court. Thanks :) It wasn't a complaint per se. I was just confused I couldn't make the microwave popcorn snack I brought for my child :) LOL Just trying to save a snack credit LOL

On our last trip at the boardwalk my husband asked where one was so he could heat leftovers and quest services had one sent to the room at no cost
