I'm starting to feel so overwhelmed with all the choices of on-site resorts. Can anybody offer a little advice? Here's a little background....
The other family we're going with is staying in a Fort Wilderness cabin. While we can afford to do the same and the idea of a full kitchen, patio & grill sounds appealing to us, we're also considering staying somewhere a little less expensive so we can use the money for other things. We'll be spending 10 days there. We will be doing some things with the other family, but not everything, so staying at the same place is not our #1 priority. But having a fridge (big enough for a gallon of milk and a few bottles of water) and a microwave are very important to us. I see many resorts have fridges available upon request, but I see nothing mentioned of microwaves. Anyone know of a policy on microwaves?
Also, we have a 6 y.o. daughter. I'm afraid that by staying in the cabins, she'd be missing out on the "resort experience" that I'm getting a sense of...don't most resorts have special things going on for younger kids? I'd really like her to be able to participate in those activities. Any suggestions on which resorts would be best for that age? (although not more expensive than the FW cabins).
Thanks so much for your opinions!
