I currently use Money, because it came with my computer, but the version I'm using is a couple of years old. I would like to see opinions on either program, pros/cons on one versus the other. It appears Quicken is more popular, but I'm not sure the difference and why.

I have not used quicken in a while, but I like the ability of accessing my Money files from any computer, via MSN. If you purchase tax filing software, there are rebates you can use so that you can get a new version of either quicken or money for free. Which you get depends upon which tax package you use. Money can be had for free with Tax Cut and Quicken free with turbo tax

I'm also interested in people's opinion's of Quicken versus Money. I currently use Quicken, but am interested in Money.

I use Quicken, mostly because I have used Quicken for probably 10 years now so I know how to use Quicken REALLY well. I've looked at Money occassionaly (the version on my computer) and they appear really similar. I'm pretty sure that if you want to switch, you can even import the Data files from one to another.

I've used Money before but then my work used Quicken. I decided to switch and that is what I now use at home. I don't remember all the differences, but Quicken has home inventory you can put in and also has a survivor report. It prints all you account information or whatever you store in the reports, so if anything were to happen to you, your survivor has all the information in front of them to get all your money. This is perfect for DH as he doens't know all of our life policies, account numbers, etc...
