Stopped in to my local Walgreens today and got a few great deals. Got the Rimmel makeup buy one get one and used two $1 off coupons. While there I also checked out the clearance end and found the Tink purple Disney Pix camera for $4.99! It only holds 40 photos, but comes with the software to do special effects too. I'm going to let the kids use it at Disneyworld for their own scrapbook.

I will warn you now that the picture quality is pretty poor (we have the HSM version) but the software is so much fun! AND you can import pics in from other, better cameras....

Cameras are horrible! But as mentioned, the software is fun, of this I would agree.

what so of special effects. im wondering if it would be worth the $4.99 o pla with the effects. im a huge tink fan

Our Walgreens has them on clearance but the range from 13.47 to 10.00 not marked down to 4.97 yet.

What is the software like? I want to know if it is worth checking every few days to see if they have reduced them anymore.

They had a pink princess one and the purple tink ones.

they also did have the disney princess and pooh 1 time use cameras for $2.49

well Im getting one as soon as they clearance. Moms looking daily (still 13.95 at all of the walgreens in 3 cities near me)

Definitely do not plan on good photos from the micro pix. We have one and they are HORRIBLE. Very difficult, even as an adult to get a clear photo.

I haven't played with the software with other pics, but maybe after we go to Disney in December, honestly, I uploaded it but after the pix were so blurry, I just forgot about it.

I'd say perhaps it's worth $5, but not necessarily any more than that, IMHO....

I could care less about the camera, the software looks SO cool!! I just wanna use it with my good cameras photos!

I had heard that the software was fun. I haven't tried it yet, but just for that I don't think the $5 was wasted. The kids can just play around with the camera and we'll see what we get. Thanks everyone for the warnings on the photo quality.
