Is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party still going on after Christmas day??? We are planning on staying in Disney Dec. 27, 2006- Jan. 1, 2007....Are we going to be able to see the Christmas Party?

Nope, it usually ends a few days before Christmas, like the weekend before.

All the decorations are up, and the day parade will be the MVMCP parade until the 1st. We were there on December 30th (park was open until 1AM, EMH until 3 or 4AM) and it was snowing on Main St. after midnight.

It will be VERY crowded, but it was a lot of fun to be at WDW for New Year's...

Sort of OT from the original question, but when do MVMCP tickets usually go on sale each year? I typically buy them a couple months before our trip, but we are planning a little further out this year and I'd like to buy them ASAP.

For the past couple of years the tickets went on sale the end of April. Before that is was sumertime.

April 30 last year, to be exact.

It would only be a guess but they are usually about the same from year to year, falling on Sun, Tues, Thurs and Fri throughout December (up until the week before Christmas), possibly a couple of nights the end of November.

Should know by mid-April.
