Is this really worth the money. What is so great about it. I will be traveling with ds who is 14. Are all the rides open or is it limited rides like in early morning entry.

I have done MVMCP for the past several years now and I'm doing it again in early Dec. Yes, all the rides/attractions are open. It can get crowded though. It isn't a 'having the park to yourself' kind of thing. In fact, last year it was much busier than the year before. I chalk that up to the fact that it was right after the big Thanksgiving week-end...I think the Tues right after. And there were still a lot of people in the parks up until that day. The day we left there seemed to be a lot fewer people there. So hopefully the numbers will be down until closer to Christmastime gets closer.

But, the holiday parade is a lot of fun. And the different shows are terrific. You might want to decide before you go what things you want to do...attractions or shows. It's hard to do it all. There are schedules from previous years parties on-line, so you can get an idea what you want. I'm looking forward to having a nice relaxing time this year. No one to worry about...just myself.

I went to MVMCP for the first time last year and did not do any rides. Just shows, parades and atmosphere(snow on mainstreet, hot chocolate and cookies, free picture, characters meet and greet etc...)

I would definitely recommend it. Well worth the $$$ to us. As for the attractions, the park was pretty crowded. We had expected it so we arrived a little earlier(around 4:00) and hit a couple of rides before the beginning of the party.

I agree with everyone else's posts. It is worth the money!!!

We went for the first time last year and we went twice (Tuesday and Thursday night.) The attractions were crowded but it is still manageable. Being able to experience the snow on Main Street, watching the Christmas parade while drinking hot cocoa and eating Christmas cookies was fun.They have a Christmas show in the front of Cinderella's castle and it's fun too!

I think that it is worth doing at least once and experiencing it. Then you can see if you like it or not.
