Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Has anyone ever been to MVMCP? Is it worth the cost of the tickets? We will be going in December and I'm trying to plan our budget.

We went to MVMCP about 1 1/2 years ago and it was one of the best days of our vacation. We got into the parks about 5:00pm and they gave us wrist bands so we could stay when the park closed for the day with the regular visitors(6pm). We had to wait in Tomorrowland ( I think) and we rode Buzz Lightyear over and over with the kids - there weren't a lot of people who knew about this option - I found out from these boards. They park officially reopened at 7:00pm with Christmas shows, parades, characters in costume, etc. The lines to all the rides were short (we never even had to get off of Splash Mt. - just went around again!!). The Christmas parade was one of the nicest we have ever seen and the fireworks were unbelievable!! It is definately worth the price of the ticket. We just let our kids sleep late that morning and went to the pool in the afternoon so they were ready for a late night in the parks. At the time my kids were 9, 7, 5.

We were there this past year. We were able to get in the MK at 4 pm. The official party starts at 7 and ended at 12, stores were open until 1, I think.

It was the best time! But plan for a down day the next day. We were exhausted!

Like Anne said, the Christmas Parade is AWESOME! and Wishes was even more spectacular. I would definitely plan to do this if you can!

I did mvmcp in 12/00 and it was SO crowded. It was alot of fun, though. We didn't do the parks that day so we saved a day on our hoppers. We got there at 7:00 and left around 10:30- the little ones were beat.
There was a really good holiday parade.
