Hi all,
I have a question about MVMCP. We're a group of 5 going down 11/30-12/6 and I was wondering, is it best to order our tickets through MS or how? Do we get any discounts? Hey, can't hurt to ask. Would we get them cheaper anywhere else? This is my first time going down as DVC and I'm very wet behind the ears at this stuff. I tried to look at the archives to see any other info about this subject.

You do not get any discounts on the party. I believe you can order them through MS or just get them when you arrive at WDW

you can only order the advance tickets through CRO - get them now if your plans are firm - they give a discount on advance tickets - gate prices are higher.

after Oct 31 - these tickets show be availability online.

You can order the tickets on the Disney World web site, there is a discount if you purchase in advance rather than at the gate. I have purchased my tickets this way many times and never had a problem.

I am sorry I don't remember the dates of The holiday things. We will be down from 11/22 through 11/29. Will we miss it all?

The first date for MVMCP events is 11/30, so you will miss that.

The Candlelight Processional has traditionally started the day after Thanksgiving so you should be able to see that.

If the rumors are true, the Osbourne Lights will not be available this year (due to some rehab work planned for MGM). They'll reportedly be back again next year.

The Holiday decorations for the parks and the resorts should be up during the time you are there, as they start appearing just prior to Thanksgiving.

More information on the Holiday events/activities/decorations will become available as the season approaches.
