Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

All adults in our group now, we always do it when we go in December. I have seen it now 5 times and I never get tired of it. But then I love everything about Christmas.

I will say due to the expense I will never buy my tickets in advance anymore. One year of horrible, horrible weather that completely ruined the evening, was enough to make me wait until I arrive.

I would rather it be sold out and not go than face that again.

You know? That's a very good point. Same thing happened to us last year. Think I'll take that advice going forward.

After a similar cold, rainy experience 5 or 6 years ago we started doing the same and just waiting until we know the weather will be ok. And if it sells out then so it goes. We actually have yet to have that happen.

But then this year I'm having a difficult time deciding if the escalating price is worth it even in good weather.

DH and I went to the party on Friday Nov 7 (the 1st one). It was sold out and felt pretty crowded. We did not have kids with us this trip. It was our 1st time at this event. We only focused on the special party events like the castle shows, parade & fireworks. We enjoyed it very much but once is probably enough for us without kids.
