Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party~~December 2nd

Hi again. On my way to Saftler's (a material store) to see if they have either lime green ribbon or lime green material - am having a very hard time finding either. We've got our lime green Mickey's from HD! Although I don't think I can talk DH into wearing one. Maybe!! I'll certainly try.
Don't know where at GF we'll be. We're an older couple and celebrating our 1st anniversary so I'm going to see if GF will upgrade us to a Kingbed room. When the travel agent made reservations she didn't do this. So I've got my fingers crossed.
Alot of us have PS at CP around 4:30 - 5:00. We'll be sitting in front of the castle for the second parade! Hope you can make it. I'm looking forward to meeting eveyone in person.
We've got alot planned for the 10 days and have arranged some down time to just relax and enjoy the SUN by the pool - I hope!

OK! With all of you from MA, do you have room for about 3 of us from Indiana?

Looking forward to meeting all of you for the party! I hope you will all say hello! So my husband doesn't think that I am so crazy spending so much time reading the boards.

I will be wearing a bright yellow jacket with a royal blue pouch. I will be wearing "our" line green ribbon. Be sure to say hello!

Oh! and how many of us are planning to stay thru to the very end? Midnight right!

And the busses will they still be running to get us back to Wilderness Lodge Villas?

And how cold will it be in the evening?

Hi Snowball, Have you had any snow yet this year???? I was in New Hampshire last week and we had snow on Tuesday night. I thought the first snow I might see would be on Main Street in Disney - I guess not! Of course there's always room for you. In fact we have another couple from Indiana we'll be looking for as well. Do you have PS for 12/2 before the Christmas Party - if so where. Ours are at CP at 5:05. We're planning on watching the second parade from in front of the castle. Hope to see you there
Can't believe it will be less than two weeks and we'll be - hopefully sitting by the pool in the sunshine!
Just attached some pins to my Lime Green Mickey Heads from Home Depot today. Am still looking for some Lime Green ribbon or material I can cut up!
My DH already thinks I'm crazy for spending so much time on these boards! We are empty nesters and still LOVE Disney and have just as much fun without our kids. We just do different thigns when they don't come. We'll be going down next year with all the kids and grandkids!!! We're looking forward to that.

Hi Snowball, we are from Indiana also...Ft. Wayne. I'll be wearing my lime green ribbons etc. We will be eating at Chrystal Palace around 4:30 the night of MVMCP...12-2. Will you be eating before the party also? Sure hope we can all get together. I thought we would be the only Hoosiers...welcome aboard.

Hi all,

We got our line green cards from HD. Then went to Wal Mart , but cound not find and ribbon (lime green) so we got some gymp (spell) and we will wear them like a necklace. You should not miss up because it's very "neon green"

What time is the 2nd parade?For that matter what time is the 1st one? This is our 1st time going to MVMCP. Please tell me that it's worth it. Anyway DD and I will be in fromt of the Castle for the 2nd parade, just tell me what time and we will be there.

Hey, how about if we could all meet in front of the Castle at the same time with all of our lime green stuff on? That would be soooooooooooooo cool.

If memory serves right....the first parade is at 7:15 or 7:30 and the second is around 10:30. Fireworks in between.

We stood in front of the castle last year but that is where the parade ended. We thought it began there. It was a long wait but it was okay.

That is where we will be this year as well, along with my friend C4241 and KC03.

The second parade starts at Main Street and the first parade starts at the opposite end. I usually go to the second parade and learned on these boards that the first parade does NOT start at Main street. Go figure!

I had a good weekend cuz I did not have to work.

Now comes the fun, I have to work the next 3 days with one day off then work the next 5 days. thats ok it will make the time fly

I can't believe it either. I'm starting to get nervous now that I'm forgetting something!!!
