Thanks Disneydill :p Good to know that there will be a couple of places serving food available in case we get hungry :)

Fresh off the phone with Disney reservations! Calling Disney makes me feel like I'm already on vacation.

Anyhow, FYI, I was able to get PS for Crystal Palace for Dec. 9th at 5:30pm. :D I thought I'd waited too long to call, but I'm happy to report that I was wrong. So if you still need to make PS, give it a try, there may be times available.

:Pinkbounc I feel like I'm in WDW already!

I have a couple of random planning questions!

Does EMH affect the crowds at MVMCP? We have a choice of Tuesday, Thursday (an EMH-MK day) and Friday. We want to avoid Friday, obviously, but I was wondering if people just start out the day early at MK and never leave! (OK, just because it's something I would do... ;) )

Also, does anyone know if SoG offers discounts on these tickets?

I'm not sure that EMH would affect MVMCP crowds...I never even thought of it...

I wouldn't choose Friday because it's a weekend night and the locals come. I would choose either Tuesday or Thursday. I might choose Tuesday so that if we had a crazy week where it rained again like last year, you may be able to switch from Tuesday to Thursday at Guest Services if Tuesday gets rained out. But if I wasn't worried about that, either night is good.

There are NO discounts for this event except advance purchase.

Is the entire park open for the party, and all the rides?

I believe that Toontown is not open for MVMCP (it was open for MNSSHP last year though!) and just a few of the rides are not open like the train, Hall of Presidents, Tiki Room, Riverboat...

Here's a link to all the attractions that are open!

Thanks that's such a great link with the times. Will be looking for you 12/2 at MVMCP.

You are very welcome!

I'll be at CP at 5:15p!!! I'll have something Lime green!

I am going to Disney on December 29 and I will be staying till January 6. What kinds of special things will there be?? Anyone had a new years bash at Disney??? I think that will be unforgettable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:smooth:

I'll be looking for you at CP our PS are for 5:05. I already have my lime green Mickey Heads from Home Depot. I'm so excited about going to the Kingdom for the Christmas festivaties. Just don't want to miss anything.

Is it considered an advance ticket if you purchase it a day or two before you go to MVMCP?

We made a ps at CP for 5:40 for the 19th. We really wanted LTT but were told they weren't accepting any ps requests. Are they open but full or not open for dinner? If they are open, I'll keep trying to get a ps, otherwise I'll just be happy with what we have.

Thanks

I was told that LTT was completely booked for the 18th. I would assume that is the story for the 19th, too. They are open, but full.

I will be at Disney from Dec. 29-Jan6...are there any special things I should get tickets for?? I was just wondering. Thanks!!:jester:

No, if you do not buy at home and wait till you are at WDW it will not be advance purchase...

I just booked us (two adults) for Dec. 2, and also a ressie at LTT. They said the characters will be dressed up for Christmas. I'm so glad I read this thread so I know we don't have to use up a park pass day but can go in early for our ressie. Thanks :)

We will be going on the 2nd also and have ressies for LTT at 7:40pm.
I can't wait. We ate there last year and were able to go out on the porch and watch the parade!. The characters look wonderful!! The food is Great!!!
You won't regret it!!!

Does anyone know where I can find a schedule of events for that night? Not just the happenings, but the times as well.

Yes, I'm an obsessive planner! :p

I'm just trying to plan the evening since we'll have DS4 and DS1 to contend with.

I posted this several pages back but this thread is just too long to find it!! Here you go!

MVMCP info 2002

They don't change much from year to year except maybe the start time of the parades by a little bit and sometimes Toontown is open and sometimes it isn't.
