You can enter MK anytime after 4:00p.m on your party tix. I have an ADR at CRT for dinner at 5:10 and will go to Tomorrowland from there.

Not that I'm planning to change my plans for 3-9, but how do these kids affect the crowds in the parks? Should I expect to see them everywhere we go or do they spend the majority of the time in competition?

Magical indeed! Brother and sister, standing side by side, not arguing, not giving each other a push away? If Disney Magic can do THAT, truly anything is possible. ;) :)

You mean there's hope for a calm, peaceful vacation? Heck, I'd even pay rack rates for that magic!

Quick question.....Does the "snow" fall during the whole party or just in the beginning? I would hate to miss this.

Thanks
In the past the snow comes at different times. I am not sure but how far apart but you can ask when you get there. I know the last year I went in 2003 it was snowing when we came in and when we left. I don't know if we just had good timing. I know it does not snow the whole party.

That's strange, because I just purchased MVMCP tickets with my FL Seasonal Pass online, and it stated they are being mailed to me. It was $32 instead of $36, correct?

I got them today :sunny: Goofy and Donald :flower:

I know they have a one-night party at Disney Studios....

You hear all different kinds of stories from all different kinds of people. I've heard horror stories every year about the kids at NoJ, and DW and I went a couple of years ago and saw nothing bad except maybe a few kids being kids. DW is a little sensitive to rambunctious kids, too, and didn't see anything wrong. Still, several people have posted with bad experiences, particularly those staying in the Value Resorts, which is where most of the PW kids stay. Loud, insensitive kids seems the be the most frequent complaint, although one lady had a pretty nasty run in with some football players making fun of her kid.

I'm not much concerned, and I wouldn't think you'd be very impacted unless you are staying at the All Stars or Pop Century. Still...be prepared for a few extra 12 year old cheerleaders in the parks.

Like I said, I never had anything happen that would make me not go during this time, I just want to avoid a more crowded resort. I decided to switch to CSR, a good excuse to try a new resort!

llebrekniT- That's exactly what I saw when I looked at your picture! :wizard:

BTW- Got my MVMCP tix today! One week after ordering. Good thing I got to the mail before the kids! (it's a surprise trip!) :Pinkbounc

We are intending to do this to - as the MVMCP fireworks start at 9.15 what time would you recommend making your ADR at CG?? :confused3

We are having dinner at Citricos on 12/11, a MVMCP nite, and I was hoping to watch the Electric Water Parade GF after dinner and then the fireworks. Do they still have the Water Parade during MVMVP? Seems like there is a time overlap...

THANKS!

I was there DEC 29 last year... it snowed while leaving the park each night till at least Jan 3rd or later... it was so cool!

what's the electric water parade @ GF?
Every evening sometime around 9:00pm (give or take 30mins) there is a series of small barges (for lack of a better word) that are connected together like lighted parade floats and goes from GF to Poly to WL. This links gives you all the info on it you might need and some pictures too. http://allearsnet.com/tp/ewp.htm

No need for a better word, they ARE barges :) . You don't really see them during the display, only the lights on top.

If you ride the MK monorail during the day, you can see them sitting in a small canal just north of the Grand Floridian.

Hey guys...posted this over on the restaurant board as well, but need I need help! When I called this summer for our MVMCP ADR (Dec 20) all they had was a 6:20, but when I called this morning to make my other ADRs they had a 5:45 available...and since I didn't have my other conf. # with me now I have both and don't know which one I should cancel! HELP! Should I keep the early one and see more of the party, or keep the later one and try to do pictures first? Any and all advice welcome...

I'd say go with the earlier one, 5:45. The party goes by too quickly to miss any of it!
I have never had a problem taking pictures during the party. The key is to do it during one of the parades or towards the end of the night. I've done both and never had a wait. The one we took during the parade was in Liberty Square, and last year, at the end of the night, we took the pics at Timekeeper.

Well looks like despite the projections for crowds on Fridays we'll be going with Dec 9....if we're going to do MVMCP thats just the only time it fits and I figure we should go at least once to see what the deal is...anyway -

Its not much the the great scheme of things but is there any particular reason I'd want to pay $3 to have tickets shipped and take the chance of losing them etc as opposed to doing will-call?....thanks.....

Greg

Hi All,

Is there an agenda for MVMCP anywhere? Do they list one online before the event or does anyone have a schedule from last year? I want to make sure I plan my night out well!! :)

Thanks so much!
