Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Central 2005

We have tickets to MVMCP on Tuesday Dec 13th, which is one of the nights AP holders get a discount. Is it usually very crowded on those nights? I have an ADR for LTT for 6:30pm that night, but plan to ask for an earlier time when I call 90 days out to make the rest of my ADRs. Do earlier times usually open up and what would be the best time to ask for? I'm taking my mom for her first ever trip to WDW and want everything to be special for her, but know she probably won't be able to stay for the whole thing. I'm just hoping it won't be too crowded as she is going to be an inexperienced ECV driver while we are down there.

I had my TA book our MVMCP tickets weeks ago and got those for Dec 15th.
Despite reading these forums daily, I've only just realised that you didn't have to wait for the 90day mark to book at LTT that night. Nevermind, my TA was still able to get us a 6pm reservation. I just want to check with the experts (you guys) :worship: that this will not be too late and intrude on our party time!!! :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Is it unrealistic to stay at LTT until 6pm or do they rush you out?

I hope this hasn't been asked already, I tried looking through all of the posts but after going through many of the pages and not finding it, I just decided to ask... :cool1:

What time are the fireworks on the night of MVMCP? I want to make an ADR for California Grille on the night of one and was hoping to catch the fireworks from the restaurant.

Anyone thinking of cancelling for a party of 4???? Please let me know if you could. thank you very much!!!

If you finish dinner before the party starts, they herd evryone over to
Tomorrow land.At least at the MNSSHP's we have been to. This our first Christmas party.I would figure it's the same!

It is VERY busy during the parties and the turn over is about 1 hour and 15 minutes. That is the longest it's taken me to be standing outside after dinner.

We are doing the same thing. We are going to MVMCP on 11/29 but on 12/1 we are having dinner at the CA Grill so we can see the fireworlks.

I am thinking about canceling my ADR @1:30 for 3 adults at the CRT.
I called today and they said if we wanted to change it to four people, there was no prob because the table is a setting for four anyway~ I still would rather eat at the Crystal Palace before the MVMCP so I will cancel this resee
next week. I will coordinate a time to cancel, so you can call to get it, if anyone is intrested. this is my first time to post~ hope I did it right!

We are intending to do this to - as the MVMCP fireworks start at 9.15 what time would you recommend making your ADR at CG?? :confused3

Our ADRs are for 8 PM. I would suggest no later than 8:45 and no earlier than 8. It is a great view enjoy.

Okay, so I finally broke down and bought my MVMCP tickets. I didn't really want to spend the extra money (we have AP's) but I really couldn't resist! Especially after reading that holiday pics thread. I'm so excited! :cheer2: :cheer2:

We will be attending the 12/11 party. It's a Sunday. Anyone have predictions on crowd levels??

Okay, I posted the question on the wrong MVMCP thread. I'll try again.
Does anyone know what is the latest ADR time for the Plaza Restaurant on MVMCP nights?

We'll be there on the 11th too! It's my dd's 6th birthday, so we bought the tickets as a birthday surprise. She's already been to WDW 4 times in the last 12 months, have to do something to make it special, lol! I'd like to know what everyone thinks of crowd levels on Sundays as well.

Anyone know if they decorate CRT for Christmas? We've decided to stick with our ADR'S there instead of trying to change to LTT. Even though it is already a lovely setting, it would be even more enjoyable if everything is decorated.

Jessica

dont know about CRT decorations as not been to MVMCP before...... I managed to book MVMCP tickets for the 12/6 and got a dinner reservation at Crystal Palace at 4:50pm the same night! Really looking forward to it!

We have park hopper tickets so what time would you reccomend getting into Magic Kingdom to be at the CP for our dinner reservation that day??

:cheer2:

Is anyone else going to MVMCP twice? I am! I am going on 11/29 and 12/1!! I thought that going on our first night would be something really fun to do since we get in at 4:00pm, there really won't be much time to spend at the park...and we are going on 12/1 and have ADR's at LTT for 5:20pm...I am soooo excited!! I can't wait! :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

We were there last year on the second Sunday in Dec. I think it was somewhat more crowded than a Tuesday, but it really wasn't bad at all. It's Friday MVMCP's that are the most crowded.

If you're looking for low crowd levels, I suggest being there at park opening on a Tue, Wed, or Fri (EMH). There will probably be a lot less people than at MVMCP. If you want to do rides at MVMCP, best times are during the first parade, and after 10:00. In our experience there are a lot of walk-ons available at MVMCP, even at popular attractions, if you can avoid being where everyone else is.

I don't want to seem flippant, but 407-WDW-DINE really is the best source of information on this kind of question. If your date is not yet within 90 days, ask them about an MVMCP date that is.

Assuming you don't plan to do anything beforehand, I'd suggest planning to enter MK about 4:15-4:20. Then if there is some delay you will still make it on time. Monorails and buses sometimes have delays. (Don't forget you are expected to check in at least 5 min before.)

If you enter after 4:00 you will probably be able to use your MVMCP ticket for admission and get your wristband right away. Yes you could use your park hopper but then you'd still have to get a wristband later.

Hey, that's our night too! See you there!!
