Sorry, another restaurant question: Are LTT and Tony's the ONLY restaurants that are open for the Xmas party? I'd really love to eat dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table on Dec. 8 or 9; will it be open for dinner around 5:00/5:30, or does it close after lunch hours on Xmas party days? TIA!

They are the only 2 restaurants open during the party...all the others; The Castle, Crystal Palace and the Plaza will close when the party starts.

I'm eating at the Castle at 5:30p.

I am debating on buying tickets to MVMCP just because I think it would be cool to see the "snow" on main street and the parade. Is this parade shown the same one they do during park hours?? Also, I have been to Disney in Dec and in Jan and I have seen them doing snow on Main Street. Am I correct in thinking that I will get to see the parade and snow during normal park hours??

You can only see the Christmas parade (and the snow on Main street) either during the party hours OR after December 20...the week of Christmas, the Christmas parade replaces Share a Dream Come True parade.

Weather at night in December can get around the 50 degree mark but it's hard to tell. I monitor the weather channel website about one week out and pack for warm and cool weather...then I tend to dress in layers.

I just called and got a 4pm ADR for CRT for dinner on 12/09. Do you think anything later will open up?? 4 o'clock is pretty early for us for dinner! I was hoping for 5 or 5:30. (Its just two of us.) What are the chances of a later time opening up??

Oh, I hope you decide to go to MVMCP. It's such a fun event...very festive.

As was already mentioned, the parade and "snow" are exclusive to MVMCP until after the last show on 12/20 and then it becomes the main MK parade.

Is anyone else going to MVMCP twice? I am! I am going on 11/29 and 12/1!! I thought that going on our first night would be something really fun to do since we get in at 4:00pm, there really won't be much time to spend at the park...and we are going on 12/1 and have ADR's at LTT for 5:20pm...I am soooo excited!! I can't wait!

I just booked my trip yesterday as an early Christmas surprise for my kids! I'll be buying tix for MVMCP Dec 11th. We did this in 1997, the last time we spent a Dec. in WDW. My kids were so little then, we couldn't stay out very late... what a difference it will be now, they're 9 & 11yrs old!
I can't believe I'm going to MNSSHP & MVMCP in the same year!

Me too! Me too! I'm so excited! Now that my kids are getting older it will be harder to do even one of these events so I'm so glad we can do both this year just in case we can't do either in the future.

I just got done doing ALL my dinner reservations yesterday!

It is so nice to be able to do it all in one call now, instead of having to do so many. The one negative was that by the time I called (1 p.m.), Cindy's was booked for EVERY DAY OF MY ENTIRE 8 DAY TRIP, INCLUDING LUNCH AND BREAKFAST!

I had thought I would be able to get a table for one of the last two or three days, but you still have to call right on the day. I feel kind of sorry for those staying off-property.....the can't book 'til 90 days. There is NO WAY they are getting tables at Cindy's unless the go the first week of September, and even then it will be tough. We'll just do the Akershus breakfast instead and call it good.

Also made ressies for my DW, MIL, Aunt in law, and DM to do Saratoga SPA, AND got my ressies for a carriage ride. Still have to get the fishing trip....we are going ALL OUT as we are going to try to have another DD or DS next year and so won't be back with the fam for a couple.
