If so, should I avoid the MK because of it or it something that can be worked around? Just needing advice and opinions from those who have been! TIA!
Sorry if this has already been asked!!
As a general rule avoiding MK on Saturdays is a good idea. But if you really want to go, you will probably find that away from Main Street the crowds are manageable. This was my experience a couple years ago when I ended up in MK on the Sunday morning of the first weekend when taping continued over from Saturday.
(I think those faces express my mood quite well!)

Also, I have a question, sorry if it's been posted before, but 97 pages...whew! Anyway, we're doing the Christmas Party on Dec. 11 which is my dd's 6th birthday. She has requested that her birthday dinner be at O'Hana, how would you guys do this? I thought about it and thought that we could do MK that morning as planned (that's where she always wants to be on her birthday, imagine that!) and then go over to the Poly around 4 or so and be done with dinner by 6? Is that feasible or not? I know that the Poly is connceted to MK by monorail, so it shouldn't take that long to get there and back...does the time sound o.k. or do it earlier?
