We ate at Casey's last year on Main Street while watching the first parade. After the parade we checked out Main Street for awhile and then got ice cream on Main Street which we ate while watching the fireworks. You can get into the park at 4:00 with just your ticket to MVMCP. Keep you 4:20 PS. You will get out before the party starts and they will probably herd you into Tomorrowland while waiting for the party to start.

Whats open in tommorowland during the hour the park is closed? Can you ride rides in that section, or just sit and wait? Can you eat?

I'm trying to remember what we did. I know COP was open and we went in there. I beleive Buzz and Timekeeper were both open. Mickey's "Twas the Night Before Christmas show had their first showing at 6:15 - this is in the Galaxy Palace Theater so you can catch this even before the party starts. Not sure about eating but on the list I have from last year both Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe' and The Lunching Pad were both open. Not sure if it will be the same this year. I believe in Star Traders you can purchase the special MVMCP pins. Although these might not go on sale until 7:00 pm - and you have to show your bracelete to purchase a pin and I beleive they limit them to 2 per person.

Normally I would think that the 30th would be the better of the two to attend the MVMCP. However, it seems EVERYONE on this thread is going 11/30.

But - don't you guys really think the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend would be more crowded that the 30th???

I see that MVMCP does not run the week of Christmas....but does MVMCParade still run?

And when does it snow on Main Street?
It is our first time going the week of Christmas & staying through New Years! So EXCITED!

Once MVMCP is over, the Christmas parade takes over the afternoon parade's spot.

I only know of it snowing on Main Street at the parties.

You just ordered them? Well I think you will be pleasantly surprised. When we ordered ours on May 1st for Dec 7 it took a while cause everyone ordered theres on May 1. But like last month or the month before, we ordered a 2nd pair for a 2nd night of the 9th. They came in like 3 to 4 days.

Hi.. we got our tickets really fast.. I'm going to say in 1 1/2 weeks? I was surprised when they came in the mail! It is So much fun to actually have them now, we had to fight over who got which character!

FYI! JC Penney's has Women's Disney Christmas Sweatshirts!!! I got a navy blue one with Mickey in a Santa Hat.. yesterday! $20! They also had Grumpy, Tinkerbell, and Eeyore.

I was just surfing yesterday to try to find something Disney for Christmas..want to do pictures while we are there.! We are shopping this weekend, so hope our store has them!

I didn't check out the Men's Department or the kids department, so make sure to breeze through those as well! I also picked up a Princess Sweatshirt from The Disney Store for each girl (they were on sale too), and got some Disney Dollars. We are trying to decide whether or not to order the personalized holiday sweatshirts from the catalog.

I ordered personalized t-shirts from the Disney catalog this past spring for our family trip! The pics are so cute. I saw sweatshirts that can be personalized in their Christmas catalog...got that Mon. 10/11. Don't remember pricing...sorry.
BTW...is your birthday 4/23? If so...so is mine!

Speaking of MVMCP apparel, I don't know if anyone with "little Princess's" saw this, but on the Gifts of a Lifetime website, she has pink princess santa hats. They are so cute. I ordered one for my DD8. I haven't decided on sweatshirts yet. Don't know whether to buy them when we're down there, get the personalized ones through Disney or do my own. I've still got some time to think about that.

I went right to search...typed in Personalized Sweatshirts. It brought up 2 pages. Click on the Blank icon for adult sweatshirt. You will then see the pic for the winter.

And I got my Husband to wear his shirt...it is worth a try. We just had to go to dinner at his favorite restaurant...California Grill! Not a bad trade off for me!!! LOL Good Luck
