Mickey's Very Merry Canerican Christmas

My favorite part of that post was "dis meet in the works". I am so excited we will finally get to meet in real life!

Beaches and Cream - Jim and I ate there last trip. While I enjoyed it, I didn't find it anything to write home about. Of course that is just my opinion, I've heard others rave about it. We had burgers and they were good but not out of this world. I ended up skipping ice cream because it was soooo cold in the restaurant that I was shivering the whole time we ate. Ice cream just did not seem like a good idea at that point. I did go into the Beach Club Marketplace and got some Oreo Bon Bons for dessert. So yummy!

Whispering Canyon - was one of mine and Mom's favorite dinners on our last Mom/Daughter trip. As for getting there, you could just take a bus directly from DHS. As for getting home, you will have to take a boat to MK or a bus to another park that is open and switch buses. Mom and I happened to be there on a night that all the parks closed early. We were going to bus to DTD and switch there but it was freezing that night. We ended up taking a cab back to CBR which cost about $20 with tip. Best $20 we spent all week!

I can't remember if you have eaten at BOG yet. I've had dinner there three times now and lunch once and loved it every time!

Sunshine Seasons is probably the best counter service pick at Epcot but if you really like Fish and Chips, the Yorkshire Country Fish Shop in England is really good too! I haven't eaten at the France Bakery yet but have read some good reviews about the sandwiches there.

I'm just so excited!!! I hoped to go to Walmart ,but the more I think about it the more I think i'll be too tired to want to go and do that LOL who knows I sometimes get there n get crazy bursts of energy lol. I love Yorkshire County and so does hail ,however Shauntelle doesn't like fish ( insert extreme sad face)

Hey everyone i'm still kickin! Just wanted to come fill ya in on my whereabouts lately..........so Hailey has been having a really hard time with a bully on the way home from school and the bully just happens to be Our property managers daughter so that's a rather sticky issue! I had a few appointments with the school and medical appointments and visits for H to a sick kids hospital and more tests and assessments. At one of these appointments she broke down to the dr about what had been happening and luckily for us this dr is awesome and took it upon herself to advocate for Hailey( she wrote a letter to the Principal) For those of you who don't know Hailey has some specialties which include ADHD,Microcephaly, and a rare chromosomal deletion(she's currently they only reported case in a world wide database with this particular deletion) So learning has always been a struggle, and ofcourse when she is stressed out it makes it that much harder on her. Now you may be wondering what this has to do with anything well a few things.........first off part of my love for Disney is the acceptance she feels there that she doesn't feel as often back home, believe it or not many times adults are worse than kids! THe other reason is that I'm hoping and praying and that the property manager doesn't start a war and we end up having to move before Disney because then there might not be a Disney trip in December so please everyone send us as much pixie dust as possible! I think you should also know that after the said appointments and the last incident with this child I did not sleep for 3 days!!!! I just couldn't stop thinking about all we've been through with Hailey and I knew there was something that had to change then finally on the 3rd night of sleeplessness it came to me..........I decided it was time to Home school ,but I'd let her finish out the year and start in September.

So I've been busy researching and buying supplies and finding everything and anything I can online to be ready for that.So busy infact that I forgot to call Disney and book H's tea party so I must get on that now.

I don't really have much advise for you not having any kids myself so I'll just send one of these your way.

Hey, did you see that Disney just moved some of the EMH hours around in December? I was planning on evening EMHs at MK on Monday but now they moved them to Saturday. I like that though because I can head back to MK for a few last hours after our meet. Got to get every moment possible in, right?

Oh I gotta look into that because I was hoping they'd change epcot EMH

well I called Disney just the other day because I realized there were some appointments I had yet to make for the girls....... I forget why I wasn't able to make them at the 180 day mark but, I know I had put them off longer so I did them .i made a tea party reservation for 1900 Park Fare and a BBB appointment .I'm not the biggest fan of BBB I just find the experience at The Pirate's League to be so much more fun,but the past 2 times H has gotten the mermaid look and I wanted her to do something different from her usual.I also feel like Shauntelle would enjoy BBB more.
at this time I'm starting to stress not a lot ,but a tiny bit because Telle's mom has made arrangements several times and not gone through with it for Disney and I'm worried that it will affect our trip.I'm hoping it doesn"t but yeah I've tried convincing myself that it'll be fine because she did pay for her flight, but she has done that in the past too,and still cancelled so i guess we'll wait and see.we aren't near final payment yet but I still am a worrier.
Regardless of what happens I'm going to make the best of it !!!

Sending hugs and vibes for Hailey, bullies are such a stain in some kids' lives. I'm hoping the home schooling works out well for her!
Yay for booking the tea party and BBB!

okay so I just wrote up this whole update but my old computer is demented so I will have to break it up into tiny sections or it'll freeze up on me ( i haven't figured out how to upload pics on our inherited laptop yet it needs a password apparently) Updates are coming!!! Today promise!!! Working on it now

So a few things have transpired Rob our disfriend came for a visit and i ended up leaving with a brutal sunburn so bad my arms are now blistered which means I'm stuck inside and have lots of time to work on this sadly abandoned PTR YAYYY but youch at the same time.

first of all before that happened I received a pkg from my wonderful PA friends Jaime and Garret, they are seriously the sweetest how I'm so blessed to make such amazing Disney friends as i have i'll never know but I'm so thankful for people like them and Rob and of course my Fave diser oopsi <3

a little while back it was decided by Miss Hailey that we would not only decorate our room window on this trip but our room aswell. She chose a Frozen Theme which then led to Jaime sending us these super cute balloons. We obviously had to open them right away and at least blow up one right?

also since H always wants balloons in Disney n they always float away on her it was decided that we'd buy balloon sticks for them.

a little while ago we were shopping with Daddy in the US as we so often do and Decided to buy some tidbits for our trip.I found this little gem and had to have it for myself.

Hailey chose this one

because not only will her and riley be sisters forever but also because it matched her brand new luggage grandma recently gave her.

Anyways as with most things Frozen these days we were unable to find any decor for that theme so we decided to go with Minnie instead and boy am i ever glad we did because what we got came with almost everything we needed to deck out our room in full on Party mode!! Almost because we of course will still need to bring our small xmas tree since we are going in December.

Here's the kit we got.....

I mean how could we not get it knowing it comes with the most epic of disco ball decorations ever!!!

Also since Jaime loves me ever so much ( I mean who can blame her really) She sent me sooooooooooo soooooooooo many tattoos to decorate our Magic bands with and since I am a complete child you better believe i'll be wearing some too!!

decisions decisions.......

she also sent some Disney Yazzles to go with the ones oopsi sent and I bought a while back, now we will be ready to party for night time parades or fireworks WOOT WOOT

oh and the beach ball in the pic was a gift from Rob that we will be bringing for sure! It's as if he somehow knew that h had busted her hello kitty one he previously sent.

in my opinion this ones better anyways because it's disney DUH!

another thing jaime sent was the 2 things I really wanted after coming home from Disney the last time you see while I was there they did this thing where for one of the weeks the characters gave secret santa cards with their signatures on them ,I collected quite a few on my own but it wasn't until after I was home for about a week or so that I found out there where some character ones I missed that were in my opinion the most important ones.
People were selling them on ebay for 10 bucks + and I forget what for shipping but i just couldn't justify that for paper products that were free.
the 2 I wanted most were chip n Dale and Stitch or lilo because next to my munks they are my fave.

jaime has taught me something through our friendship and that is that if theres anything in this world I can't find she can LOL.I am so happy and this inmspired me to invite a friend on our trip so let me introduce you to our latest resort guest who will be in on our adventures......

So about our visit with Rob,if you want to know how that went he is writing a mini tr about that and you should go check it out unless ofcourse he says i'm a horrible person then you should not lol :rotfl:

i do have a small story about it though ..... so a few days before he came down I watched Disney planes at my moms house and omg it is sooooo cute I loved this movie so much!!! I'm in love with Dusty! It's more of a toon lust really but yeah it's so cute! So one of the days while Rob was here we decided to hit up Target and found that Disney stuff was on clearance and even cheaper than what it was marked down to I found those little play pack things and invisible ink books for 70 cents, but they rang up as only 30 cents so then I had to go make sure I grabbed 3 of those yep one for shauntelle one for Hailey and of course one for myself I skipped through the store singing " i got planes for the plane I got planes for the plane" over and over again driving Rob and Riley completely nutso!! Well I was so excited that I grabbed the invisible ones which were marked as 2.10 but were really 90 cents without a second look . I just realised last night that 2 of them are infact not planes at all they are cars .........:sad::sad::sad::sad: mind you Cars isn't horrible but it's no Planes that's for sure,so it looks like the girls get cars because no way am I giving up the planes one HAHAHA!!!

Anyways yes I will be colouring on the plane and not only that but because Rob n ry teased me about my planes I continued to point out anything plane related for the rest of the time and sing me awesome song alot!!!

and since I needed my carry on for the past weekend, and thats over with I can now begin my packing WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

So much fun stuff!!! Party in the Cheeky room at Disney...whoop whoop!!! :jumping1: You better have my name on the list, cause I will be so sad to be stuck behind the velvet rope! :worried:

Carrie, I'm reporting for duty. ;)

Seriously, looking forward to reading. I've got to leave work now to go for my haircut, but will catch up when I get home tonight.

I'm caught up. Great intros and sounds like an awesome trip. Your plans sound great. I love all the goodies you've picked up and that you'll have a party room.

Hi Carrie Ann! :D Thank you for inviting me to read your pre-trip report. From what I can see, it definitely sounds awesome and I love how you are wasting no time preparing for the trip. As far as the bully situation, I am very sorry to hear about it and I hope that this does not end up being an all out war with your property manager. Unfortunately, I was bullied at around the same age back in 2003 as one of the bullies knocked me off of my bike :( . Another bully hit me unfortunately. Thankfully, I got away and my mom called the police. While one of the bullies came with his father and they were both very apologetic and the former bully admitted his wrongdoing (we became friends after that incident). Unfortunately, the other bully's mother was mad at my mother and tried to defend his character, calling him "her angel." She never let this go and has since hated me, even though I'm on good terms with her son who no longer bullied me and her other son. This hatred got to the point where she made up lies about me not performing my duties properly at a special needs camp back in 2010, even though her complaints were false . Unfortunately, I had to resign :( due to the fact that the special needs camp had to take the parent's side (even though the camp knew I did nothing wrong), as they run on donations from the parents. Oh well, what can you do? Everything worked out in the end :) .
I saw your dining plans and I think they are great. While I have not been to Beaches and Cream, BOG Dinner, 1900 Park Fare, Whispering Canyon, and Hollywood and Vine. I found Cape May to be a lovely surprise, with delicious seafood, excellent service, a somewhat classy atmosphere, and a great value at about $40 p/p. Flame Tree BBQ is one of the best counter service restaurants IMHO as the freshly smoked BBQ chicken is juicy, tender, and smokey. The service there is also friendly and accommodating. Sunshine Season is another excellent bet, as it has many choices for picky eaters. You could get foods like roast chicken, Asian noodle bowls, freshly grilled fish (usually salmon), and sandwiches. Again, the quality is very high and the prices are not bad at all. I hope you have many happy times to come and I look forward to hearing more about your plans. Thank you! :mickeyjum
