What is this (Mickey's TT morning madness) exactly? My family is going in August, we don't have a package. We are staying HOJO's:banana:! I've read the thread about people getting extra tickets and giving them away, but what is it? I have 4 boys ages 2-9 is this something they would like, in your opinion? Probably too late to find tickets, anyway. Just didn't know what it was and if I should struggle to try and get some.;)

ToonTown opens one hour after park opening but on Morning Madness days, it opens one hour early (so park opening). It's a great time to do the 2 rides in there with little to no wait, check out all the different houses of the characters & to watch a opening ceremony at City Hall with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, (Daisy??), Chip & Dale with the Mayor. Cute little show with music, dancing & dialogue. After the 10min (??) show, you can go meet Mickey at his house & Minnie at her house, as well as see the other characters thru out ToonTown.

You also get a Toontown honorary citizen button.:thumbsup2 I think it would be something they would enjoy, we are ages 18-52 and we enjoy it and especially being around all the characters at one time. We get to the Towntown gates about 15 min early though it starts at exactly 1 hour after the park opens. I have seen people give there extras away but that is not the only way of getting them :tink:. On several occations I have gone to the DTD Walt Disney Travel and asked for the "Magical Extras booklet" which they now call "Passport Plus booklet" :wizard:it cost us $10.00 per person/per booklet and includes:
Collectible Pin and Lanyard voucher
Preferred seating for Disney's Aladdin- A Musical Spectacular, Muppet-Vision 3D, It's Tough To Be A Bug! and I think the Animation Academy
Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness :yay:
And discounts for places like La Brea Bakery and such

They were still doing this in May and I've been doing this for 2 or 3 years (when I can't get extra's that people are giving away.)

I was excited to learn about the passport plus book. Is the Walt Disney travel company a store or is it a website? Thank you.

It is one of Walt Disney Travel (Guest Services) locations and the only place that I know that you are able to purchase the "Passport Plus Booklet" it is right next door to compass books and the hertz location also to find it easy it is across from Disneyland Hotels Adventure tower front facing DTD. http://disneyland.disney.go.com/sho...ces/?name=WaltDisneyTravelCompanyShoppingPage
Also wanted to add you don't have to book through Walt Disney Travel like it states on the website I book through Expedia or the Hotels themselves and have also gone to Walt Disney Travel for the booklet. :)

Do onsite hotels give this benefit as well? We have stayed onsite numerous times and I never thought to ask. Thanks!

Thank you very much Jenasweetemotion! This really made my day! :yay: The coupon book sounds awesome!

Onsite hotels give you the perk of Magic Morning but not Toontown Morning Madness, they also don't give you the preferred seating vouchers for the shows or the pin/lanyard. I don't recall onsite hotels giving coupons either.
If you book a package through Walt Disney Travel, AAA (I think Costco also does) you will then get the booklet. If you didn't book a Package (Tickets & Hotel) then you will not receive the Booklet.
We've stayed at the Paradise Pier several times it wasn't until 3 years ago when we had an issue that they sent us over to Walt Disney Travel Guest Services where we got the On several occations I have gone to the DTD Walt Disney Travel and asked for the "Magical Extras booklet" for free. Ever since then we have purchased the "Passport Plus booklet" since we are AP holders and enjoy the Booklets perks :wizard:.

Your welcome! the coupons are nice but the vouchers in the booklet for the Pin/Lanyard and the Toontown Morning are what we enjoy most :cheer2:. we often give the vouchers for the preferred seating away to someone while we are there this next time we go though we will use them since we will have more time :yay:

Thank you so much Jenasweetemotion, I couldn't reply back via pm, I don't have enough post yet. But I wanted to tell you thank you very much for the info I really appreciate it more than you know. :)
