Mickey's Teddy Bear

I got this cute teddy bear at the weekend from a charity shop near my house!

His tag says he's from Disney Word and Disneyland and he comes with a little booklet with Mickey on it - have tried Googling but all it comes up with is links about Duffy and he's not a Duffy (I have one of those too ) Does anyone know anything about what he is - was he just from Disney parks?

That's Duffy 1.0 (before they started using his name much here in the states). We have one of those too.

I had one of those from 2003 - it was purple - that I sold on eBay back in 2008. If my memory serves me correctly, it went for $600. (it may have been more but I know it was at least $600). A guy in China bought it - he said they were collecting them for a museum.

Disneybridein2k3 - wow $600 for a teddy bear My dog is eyeing him up so better make sure he's well out of reach in case he becomes a collectors item!
