Mickey's Slide - Height AND Age Requirements?

I have a "tall for her age" 3 and a half year old who is obsessed with slides.

I'm wondering if there is any chance of my daughter being able to use the Mickey slides on the Dream? She meets the 38inch height requirements but not the minimum age of 4 as stated on the website.

Anybody know if the minimum age is a guideline or a firm rule with regards to the Mickey slide? As I know that the kids clubs sometimes make exceptions for children on the cusp, I'm wondering if this extends to the slides?

Generally anything with an age restriction (like an excursion) DCL is firm about. It's a liability thing. If they say "must be 4" and then let a 3 year old go down, and something happens to that 3 year old, can you image the lawsuit?

Where did you see the age of 4 specified? This is all I can find:

A minimum height of 38 inches (3' 2") and a maximum height of 64 inches (5' 4") are required to use the slide.

The age has been on the sign at the entrance onboard in the past. We haven't had a kid go on the Mickey slide in a few cruises/years.

There is a sign. That being said, the CM there never once asked my dd what her age was (she's 4). So as long as your daughter looks like she could be 4 and she meets the height requirement, I highly doubt they will even check.

Just got off the Dream last week and I had no idea that there was a age requirement or a 38" height requirement. Of course I knew that little ones could not go down it and I stood right by the sign taking pictures. My daughter will not be 4 until May and she is 37.5" without shoes (measured her for rides at Disney) She did the slide at least 20 times and I stood there taking pictures the whole time right beside the CM. Had no idea I was breaking rules and there were a few kiddos that were much smaller than her. My 6 year old was with her the first few times but it kept her occupied when DH and I would take turns doing the aquaduck with DS. She had no problems with it and they may have just assumed she was 4. She also loved the Nemo play area. I was surprised at how big it was in pictures it looked so small and I thought she would be to big for it but she loved it. They have a very small slide that she loved too!
