Mickey's Runaway Railroad

We loved it ds9 and ds13... and the Air conditioning worked great lol.
We had a fp and waited 20 mins

Really bummed I never rode it before closing. One of my best friends was coming down March 20, and I decided to wait to try to ride it with her as she was soo excited about it.

ugh

I've kept myself from watching a youtube vid of the ride as well.

It’s colorful and playful and a lot of fun! I remember laughing out loud during parts of it. And there are so many different things to look at during the ride that I think it would have a lot of re-ridability (is that a word lol). It’s also a great attraction for all ages, and HS desperately needed that.

It's all subjective of course, just like any other ride (I LOVE the little mermaid ride--never has a wait time more than 5 minutes, and space mountain is torture for me). I look at the youtube videos for MMRR and I think it looks fabulous. OP looked and thought it looked meh. That's probably a good sign OP won't be blown away by it. Just like some people think Hoop De Doo review is hilarious and others would rather have a root canal than sit through it.

I rode it twice the first week of March. I'm a huge trackless dark ride fan. I absolutely loved it. It is just visually stunning and probably one of the best artistic masterpieces merged with a ride I have ever seen. My sister also loved it. Dad likes thrill rides and thought it was boring.

It looks good, given COVID and our future plans it will probably be 2022 before experience it. One thing that bugs me, this is a five (5) minute ride that replaces a 22 minute ride. Just saying, seems like there must be a lot on empty space in that building!

Wife and I rode MMRR on March 6 . . . and LOVED it. We're so glad we were able to ride it before the Disney closures. Looking forward to riding it again "real soon!" Sure to be one of our fave Disney rides.

DS (24) and I rode it right after it opened (March 8, I think). Entered HS early so we'd be able to get a ROTR boarding group. I went straight to line for Runaway Railroad and DS was considering waiting for something else, because he didn't think ride sounded that great. He decided to wait with me. Line was long, but kept moving and we were in line when official park opened and everyone in line was also getting ROTR boarding groups so it was fun to see how everyone did (quite a wide variance in boarding groups considering we were all attempting it at same time). Once park opened, the line moved quickly for MMRR. I really enjoyed it and DS enjoyed it way more than he thought he would. I would have loved to ride it again because there's so much going on you really need to ride it several times (in my opinion), but no way was I waiting in the crazy opening week lines to ride it again! Hopefully we'll get to ride it again soon!
