Mickey's PhilharMagic - worth an extra day to see?

Yet another vote for absolutely yes, go see it! Philharmagic is one of the top 2 attractions that my older DD cannot wait to go back and experience (Soarin' is the other one). Have a great time!

Definetly worth it! This is my favorite attraction at MK. Sadly it's going to be closed this time we go. :sad1:

Well, I'm all about finding reasons to extend my trip! :cool1:

When I brought my husband to WDW the first time, this is the first attraction we hit. At the end of our trip, he told me how glad he was that we did this one first, because it just perfectly captured the magic and fun of WDW.

I think it would be just as special to finish off a magical vacation!

This is one of the best attractions at the park I have 3 children and I too was concerned about the 4d because they had been scary to them before. not so here you don't move at all, its not scary at all, now sudden things happening it blends well, my 4 year old could go on it a hundred times in a row, well worth one more day. :thumbsup2

It is a very worthwhile attraction. As long as the extra night in the hotel does not damage your budget, I say stay for Philharmagic.

PhilharMagic is sooo worth it in my opinion!! It's fantastic!

We extended a stay once for another two days - decided while we were already there. It was PHENOMENAL to give ourselves that freedom.

I leave the 5th, and am also hoping it re-opens a smidge early, but not counting on it, of course. DH tried to talk me into extending our stay one day (not for Philharmagic, just "because," - I couldn't get another night at POP or any of the other values on the plan we're on, though, so we haven't done it. I might call back a time or two and see if anything changes). If I could afford the extra night in the hotel, the extra day of tickets is nothing, and I'd say, well, if we can, why not. It wouldn't be ONE thing that kept me there another day, though, just the general joy of it all.

That's a long drive. I agree with the poster above that you should be well-rested before heading home.

We were there for our first time last year and saw that at least twice if not 3 times. We loved it. My son's were 3 and 7 at the time I believe. I don't remember them being scared of any of it. The only thing my 3yo didn't like at WDW was the great movie ride because they were shooting and being mean. Oh and he didn't like the Laugh Floor. He cried thru the WHOLE thing. I am not sure why but he hated it.

I love the attraction as it integrates so many cool Diz film moments and songs, but not sure it is an extra day worthy .... on the other hand, any reason to stay an extra day is a good one. I'd use any excuse ..... I'd say, "I see that the Coke bottle that spits mist out near Test Track is out of service ... guess we need to stay another day!"

Our favorite show too! Especially if they like Fantasia and music. But I did want to say that you should not count on it being open. I would hate for your hopes to be crushed on your last day!! I wouldn't tell the kids about it either and let it be a great surprise if it is open. And yes, I would stay the extra day on the chance that it will be open because even if not you can go do a few favorites then leave from MK instead of a hotel :cool1: Have fun!!!!

It is one of my most favorite attractions in all of Disney World. I personally would change my trip around just to see it. It is one of those things that really make me feel like I am at Disney.
