I for sure thought in December when we were there both Mickey's Philharmagic and Peter Pan had fastpasses. According to the 2004 Unofficial Guide, only Peter Pan and Pooh have fastpasses in Fantasyland. Anyone know for sure about either of these two???

Philharmagic just opened last fall, that's why it may not be in the guide. All 3 have fastpass.

According to the official WDW website, Philharmagic is not a FastPass attraction. I did it in October, but I can't remember if it was or not as there was only a 5 minute wait for it.

Pooh
Snow White (<edited to add> ok - i'm like 70% sure SW has FP...)
Peter Pan
Philharmagic

all have Fast Passes (trust me - it's the only way I get on PP, SW, and Pooh!)

I've never had to use a FP at Philharmagic...never quite understood how you could "fast pass" a movie...but that's just me. But I DO know they had them...cause we were contemplating getting one when the doors opened up. :)

We used Fastpass for Philharmagic in November. It just meant that we got seating guaranteed for the show before they let the line of standby into the theater.

Hi Eeyore2003,

Thanks for reading the Unofficial Guide.

PhilharMagic is indeed a FASTPASS attraction. It hadn't been announced as such when the Unofficial Guide went to press last year. We have listed this update on the Guide's website though. See my SIG below for the URL.

FWIW, PhilharMagic is a very good attraction, certainly among the "must see" attractions in the Magic Kingdom.

Sincerely,

Len

Yep, Philharmagic is indeed a fastpass attraction; Snow White is not. Each time I have been to WDW and DL for that matter, Snow rarely has a line of significance.

What can you tell me about Philharmonic? I know it's new, but can you give some details? Thanks!

Philharmagic is my favorite 3-D movie at the World. It starts with Mickey telling Donald NOT to put the sorceror's hat on, or touch his orchestra baton; of course Donald can't resist and mayhem ensues. Thru the craziness we get a review of some of Disney's most beloved songs and movie scenes, including Be Our Guest, A Whole New World, I Just Can't Wait to be King, Part of Your World, and You Can Fly (I think...I know it's a song from Peter Pan and my mind is blanking right now), plus a new twist on the scene from Fantasia with the brooms. Like Muppets and Honey I Shrunk the Audience, more senses are tickled that just sight and sound; you smell things, you feel things- it's great! If you love Disney music, you WILL LOVE THIS ATTRACTION! It's a must do again and again.

Ok, I'm convinced! We'll put that on our list of must-dos! I've never seen to any of the other 3-D movies, but now I'm excited to try this one!

PhilarMagic is simply great. My daughter never thought she would love anything as much as the Muppet Vision 3-D at MGM, but now she is conflicted

And at the end, Donald flies out and gets stuck in the back of the room with only his tail sticking out. Someone had to point it out to me the first time, so when I went back, I pointed it out to the little boy sitting next to me-then he pointed it out to his whole family like he'd seen it first. It was so cute! Be sure to look back for Donald!

Yes, and then in the gift shop (upon exiting of course) Donald is in another mess- it's cute to at least pop in and take a peek.

huh?

ok - I must have totally missed this! now I want to go back and see for myself! hehehe

Honestly - this is one of the BEST 3D shows on Disney property. (but, and I'm sorry, my all time FAVORITE 3D show is Shrek 4D at US. hehehe I'm a huge fan of Shrek!)

Stinkerbelle----look up at the ceiling---seems Donald got in a tangle with the brass section of the orchestra.
