"Mickey's" Philharmagic is really...

I am a huge fan of Philarmagic too! My hubby and I always put that at the top of our list when we go to Magic Kingdom. The apple pie scent is amazing and of course you have to reach out for those jewels. lol There was a funny moment once when Flounder came on and a little kid yelled out "Nemo!!!". Also, does anyone remember the Donald hat in the gift shop? I still wish I'd gotten one of those. It's an upside down Donald hat! ahhhhhhhh I'm missing Disney so much!

We went in here in 2005 and had no idea what to expect and ended up loving this so much! It is a wonderful attraction! One of my favorites at MK.

Yeah, this is hands down, my favorite Magic kingdom attraction. I could see this over and over all day and never be bored. It is most amazing and when I notice people who have never seen it before, it makes me smile. It is FAN-TASTIC!!
I love Soarin" as well, my favorite overall attraction (I don't do thrill rides, can't, due to a bad back and a case of the nervous nellies over real live heights and super fast coasters):sad 1: So I stick to less thrilling attractions, but love them. Especially Soarin' and Philhar.

I like POTC and Haunted mansion as well, But Philhar can bring me back over and over all afternoon.

It is also a nice break from the heat while enjoying one of the top attractions at WDW. I heard talk that TPTB were bringing Philhar to DCA in Anaheim to replace Muppets, then changed their minds. Bad move! Philhar would be so popular at DLR! Maybe someday. was so looking forward to it, then they burst my bubble. Dirty Rats.:lmao: :rotfl:

I too wish they could do some of the effects in Soarin' that they do in Philhar. 3-D would be a start with Soarin" WOW! How cool would that be?

Great thread topic! LOVE Philharmagic!!!!!!

This is my favorite attraction.
It gives me vibes. Y'know :goodvibes:
It's pure Disney =)
And it's the only 3-D show I'll actually put up with. All the other ones drive me insane, this one just makes me happy.

from what i heard, the issue with bringing philharmagic to DCA was that the show building wouldn't have been large enough.

philharmagic actually has the largest seamless projection screen in the world (or at least it was at some point if it's still not)

I love Mickey's Philharmagic! The scents are great and the 3d is just amazing!

Well, I hope someday they will find the space for it! It would be greatly welcomed there!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Unlike Soarin' which we love, MP doesn't lose any of the magic after seeing it the first time. Soarin' is still great, but it's nothing like "the first time". However, we can (and do) watch MP over and over again, and still walk away feeling as satisfied as the first time we saw it.

I'm very much looking forward to my parents seeing it for the first time in November. They've only been to Disney once, and that was a 2-day trip back in 1984. I know they will be as amazed as we are by MP.

We absolutely LOVE Philharmagic! I would just and watch it several times a day if I could (oh wait, I have :lmao: )

While we love Soarin' as well, it would be so much better in 3-D.

I love it! Overall, one of the best relatively recent additions to any of the parks. I get choked up a couple of times during the show, because I'm a sap (and honestly, I like that about myself).

Funny -- I think back to when this attraction was being planned and built. There was a lot of chatter going around from the Disney Pessimists (you know, those people who have the motto "We Love Disney, But We Sure Don't Like Disney Very Much") about how it was going to be a disaster and the animation was going to be a horrible travesty.

Those people are probably still convinced they were right!

I was lovin' it until the Jasmine scene and then I got motion sick and had to close my eyes for most of the remainder of the show. I napped in the waiting area while we waited for CRT time.

I really, really wish I could enjoy this!!! I went once right after it first opened and got motion sick and had a really, really terrible anxiety attack and had to run out during be our guest. I was really disappointed bc I had been looking forward to it ever since it was first announced. It would normally be exactly the kind of thing I love but I've been too scared to go again since that first attempt nearly 4 (or is it 5???) years ago. I always kind of shut my eyes and walk past it really fast. :( My mom doesn't say anything bc she knows how sick I got but she really loved it so I feel bad about being too chicken to do it again. Maybe I'll try again in December!!!

It is my first favorite attraction - I just love this one - I can smell the apple pir so beautiful!;)
