Mickeys Philharmagic is it visually a dizzy ride

Hi : Can someone tell me if the new attraction mickey;s philharmagic a ride that makes you feel dizzy. Also are there strong perfume smells in it.

Three of us get severe migraine headaches from big screen shows that have a dizzy factor ex (the ellen show Universe of Energy screen)

It's not a ride, but a 3-D theater presentation. That said, the latest 3-D technology is so good that I did feel as though I was flying wildly through the scenes and there was the sensation of motion although nothing actually moves. It's a great show, we caught it twice earlier this month.

Is there any of that in the show? I'd still go, but I have to be ready.

The only 'Smell-O-Vision' effect I detected was the apple pie smell during the restaurant scene. There may have been others, but I brought a slight head cold with me from the wilds of Pennsylvania and I may have missed something.

I agree, the "apple pie" scent was the only odor I noticed. I'm prone to motion sickness and found that I needed to look away from the screen during the Aladdin scene when Donald is soaring crazily on his flying carpet...really made you feel like you were with him! Other than that, it was a lot of fun and I would try to give it a go. My DH is a migraine sufferer and had no problems.

I get motion sickness too. But not with philharmagic. It was awesome. Mission space made me very sick from the motion.
The smell is not strong and overwhelming just nice. I believe that it was only pie, too. Don't miss it.

what time do the shows start? Is like 3 times a day or like every 30 min type of thing?

I think the show runs every 20 minutes or so. They empty and fill the theater very fast. As the crowd leaves, the new crowd is filling the empty seats.

I also agree that the only smell was the apple pie. Not overwhelming at all. You can always close you eyes if its gets too dizzying (mostly the Aladdin scenes).

Air conditioned, theater style seats. Very comfy. You could fall asleep if the show wasn't so amazing

They should have a stand outside the show that sells apples, apply pie, apple fritters, and ice cream!

We had a nice chat with a CM, who told us the Aladdin scene in Philharmagic is notorious for inducing vomiting in children. (We were specifically discussing appropriate theater-type shows for our theater-phobic 3 yo DS.)

Is the aladdin scene in the beginning or the end of the show.

Also I did read somewhere that there was a slight perfume smell from one of the characters, maybe it was Jasmine.

My DD suffers from severe migraines as well as classic migraine syndrome. The smell of perfume/cologne can trigger one for her as well. Mickey's Philharmagic has not presented any problems for her at all. I think you will all enjoy this show w/o any ill effects.

Yes, there is the smell of Jasmine. It is more floral that prefumey. I thought there was another one too, but I can't remember. I remember the apple smell. My daughter is 6 and loved it. No problems with motion in our bunch of 6 (all ages). It was my father's favorite thing and he is 53!!!

I do close my eyes during the "carpet ride". I am very sensitive to motion sickness. The first time I started feeling the sick feeling and looked away. I tried again the second time, same thing. I still love this ride. I just look away for that 15 second timeframe.
