Stay tuned for tomorrows final workout schedule for night time. :cool1:  :dancer:

A night time workout? Is this family-friendly reading? Will there be a future installment of the aerobic packing routine?

It's officially Friday, the 8th. Four WEEKS to go!

The canning is finished...until September when I start all over with 2 pecks of a different kind of peach. Every year, I can one bushel and run out by February. Not this time.

Folks please please hold the phone calls and e-mails:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I can tell the next exercise program is already going to be the most popular. You will just have to wait till it's posted and y'all (southern drawl) can read it at the same time:surfweb: And Maryland Peach Queen ofcourse it will be family friendly. Oh i am so hurt by the thought:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: However, this will be an INTENSE and physically draining workout. We will seperate the A's from the B's, the "Dis Board" workout followers from the non-followers, the tired from the energized, the... well you get the picture:laughing: Since i am still on vacation this week doing very little, except riding my Harley:moped: (closes pic to a motorcycle) and reading and planning our workouts and cooking dinners, i will get to the last workout later. So hang on to your britches (nickers).

I got the FE gifts I ordered in the mail yesteday. I had to nonchalantly open them up to inspect them, while talking to Chris, making sure Chris didn't really see what I was looking at, and then put them up in the top of my closet for safe keeping. ;)
I also came home yesterday and the best neighbors in the world that live beside me surprised us by cooking us dinner (the husband is a chef) and the best neighbors behind me mowed my lawn! :woohoo:
Today is my birthday and the opening of the Olympics so I'm looking forward to this day rocking (only downside....BIG downside....is little Chaser racer is sick w/ the flu).

Dawn,

:bday:

I hope Chase feels better soon. You have awesome neighbors! :cheer2:

Make sure you get that Flu:sick: out of your house before it's time for the cruise. You have enough time to clear it out of everybodies system before your trip:goodvibes . Atleast Chase didn't get sick the day before or of time to leave. Are your neighbors always that nice? We have been living in our house 20+ years and still barely know our neighbors:laundy: . It's just not the same as it used to be.

Happy Birthday Dawn! Get well soon Chase. My son Connor's middle name is Chase.

Right now we sort of have no neighbors. All the lots around us are vacant. They are all on 4-5 acres so we have lots of privacy. :) When someone does start to build on one of thoes lots it will be a semi sad day here.

If DH has his way we will be in CT by then. :sad1: I'm hoping that job doesn't pan out. I know it's bad but, I don't want to move. I most def don't want to move back up north.

Yes, my neighbors are always that nice. We live in a very sparcely populated area.....I was the first house on our street.....and I only have the two neighbors. I have been very blessed that all of us get a long so well. I think they take pity on me being a single mom (not that I am one that likes to use that as an excuse). They are always very sweet and I find surprises often. I thank God that I have them! :)

Thank you for the birthday wishes!

Happy birthday Dawn party: I hope you have a wonderful day!

Well, I think my portfolio work is safely behind me. I had my supervised feedback session with one of my subordinates today and my action plan was done yesterday. I also managed to cross all the Ts and dot all the Is before the meeting yesterday. Now my line manager has to do his comments and then we both have to sign it, which should happen tomorrow and then the baby should head for Dubai to be marked. Nothing else that I can do. What a relief?

I just had the most bizarre conversation. My plan has been (and by the looks of things might be again) to spend both of my days in Nassau on board. Well, the other day I checked the Atlantis website and they now do a Trainer for a Day program. I really liked the sound of this. Unfortunately the only phone number is a toll free number that I cannot dial from the UK. So I emailed them via the link on the website. I got a reply back going into a bit more detail about the program (which sounds fantastic) and asking me to ring a normal number. Well, I just did this. First of all I was transfered to somebody else four times. I finally got through to somebody at Dolphin Cay and this is the conversation I had:

Me: Hi, my name is Corinna and I have a question about the Trainer for the Day program. I hope you can help me.

DC: You want to know what the Trainer for the Day costs?

Me: No thank you, I have found this out via your website. I just need some help with a general question.

DC: You want to reserve Trainer for a Day?

Me: I just need some help with a question for now.

DC:OH......

Me: I will come to Nassau on board the DCL and will be able to get ashore at 9:30. I know this is cutting it a bit fine for a 10:00 am check in. I just wonder if it will be problem if I am running a little late?

DC: Yes (in really happy upbeat tone)

Me: :confused3 You mean it is a problem or it isn't?

DC: Yes

Me: :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

DC: It should be OK

Now, I am not overly reassured by this. I still have not made up my mind if she simply did not understand me or just did not have a clue what she is talking about. It is not exactly cheap either so I really do not want to pay that kind of money only to find out that they will not let me do it if I am running a little late. This would have been so perfect.

Hi Corinna,
Sorry I took so long to respond, haven't gotten to check my mail all day. My favorite color is yellow and Sam's is pink. My favorite character is Beast and she loves any of the Princesses lol. Getting excited about the fun!! - Nancy

Sam's FE gift is sorted, but you are providing a bit more of a challenge, but I love challenges. Can't wait to get up to mischief!!!!

Corinna, weren't you and the person in Nassau speaking the same language?:confused3 You might want to call back and hopefully get somebody else to answer the phone or ask for a supervisor. It doesn't sound to promising. Ok hear it is (in between peaks at the opening of the Olympics); The final installment of our "Dis Board " workout program. Remeber all day we have worked on our cardio, biceps, shoulders and hamstrings. Now we are going to put them all together in an intense, lengthy work out. This is not for the feint of heart or easily tired. You've heard of the newest work out fad P90X whatever whatever. This will include the same ideas from that program. It involves aerobics and gymnastics (stretching, jumping, spinning and bending), MMA technigues (punch moves, kicks, tackling and elbow thrusts) along with everyday activities such as landscaping ( motions of the sprinkler and starting the lawn mower) and grocery shopping (John Travolta made this move famous in the movie Saturday Night Fever). It's very important to first prepare yourself for the work out. To prevent dehydration you need to get a drink for each hand:drinking1 (again leveling the weight on both sides of the body). Keep yourself hydrated throughout the program by refilling your drink:drinking1 . Your drink can be water, juice, soda or alcohol. With alcohol also consume water to fight off dehydration. Which also leads to the world famous move the "Irish River Dance". Thats when 10 people need to use the bathroom that holds 5 at a time. Close your eyes and you can picture the anxious 5 river dancing as they wait in line:dance3: :dancer: . You guessed it we are.... DANCING and Partying!!:cool1: :dance3: :dancer: party: PARTYING!!!! :woohoo: :cool1: The next morning we start over again.

Here's some "real" Irish riverdance. Not really, but close

(Patty, ignore the time stamp on this post. It's not really that late).

Monica!!!! What do you mean ignore the time stamp???? You were editing it after that (see that time in the bottom???) Silly girl, you got to get some sleep.

Loved the youtube chimps, they are adorable and look exactly like Dale's demonstration last night, lol!!!

Yea four weeks today, we'll be on our flight down!!!! And we'll be meeting some of you at the Radisson!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!

HELLO!!!! anybody out there?  Were is everybody:rolleyes1 ? Ya'll burnt out from the disboards? Or think you have a life besides the disboards? Come on folks lets get in gear:cheer2: . We need to get excited now:cheer2: . The time is getting near:cheer2: . Whether your in the game or on the bench let's cheer on our team:cheer2: . I'm sorry wrong speech. Patty has now added the Disney cruise ship horn to her ring tones. OMG! I think her favorite character should be Goofy. Hah! Allthough it's more fun to pick on her about Pooh:banana: . Monica, i see you found my family video clips on you tube. Hah! I think we ALL should do a "Happy Dance" together as we enter the ship.:dancer:

Well, I thought that we were speaking the same language, but of course I speak British English and have a very strong German accent. I don't know what went wrong, but I seemed to have problems communicating with the various people I was transferred to before I ended up with the right department. I really don't know what the problem is. Planning this trip alone, I have spoken to DVC Member Services more often than I care to remember as well as with DCL and the Radisson to sort out the shuttle. Maybe I will try again or maybe I just do the deep water swim that I can happily book via their website.

Sorry guys, hubby has taken a real liken to posting here (can you guess?!?!) He has been on vaca this week (while I was working) so he had LOTS of time to play. He will be going back to work on Monday so he won't be here non stop to bug you to post more.

:worship: Patricia :worship: I just got my treadmill out of dustballs, and although it is an uphill only treadmill, I could only walk a mile before just being completely exhausted. I plan to get to three miles and eventually run the 3 miles like you have successfully done but wow. I'm really proud at your feat.

I like Dale's posts! They make me laugh.

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. It is getting close!

The opening ceremonies were great last night although very long. We have been enjoying watching many of the events today. I hope everyone is having a good Saturday!

Dawn,

Keep at it, when I started the journey, I could hardly run 30 seconds. My buddy Cam will be doing the half marathon (at Disney) in January. She is starting her training for that and I want to continue with her. I won't be able to go run at Disney with her but hopefully some where at home. And I may repeat this many times, but I run SLOWLY. I am not out to win any race, just finish!

I enjoyed most of the opening cermonies last night, but watched the end this afternoon (fast forward through some of the countries). Haven't caught any of the sports today, was going to wait and watch some later on (and can skp through the ones I find boring, lol).

I am glad Dale makes you laugh, he makes me laugh too. I have been waiting for him to post for so long I can't complain. He's just opening up and letting you 'get to know him' before you actually 'meet' him!

Hi Guys! Everyone having a good weekend?!

We leave for the airport in 10 DAYS!! That's so crazy!

We got a bunch of house stuff today since it'll be our last chance before we leave! I'll probably spend the next week packing up my stuff for the move, and packing up for our vacation! On top of that, I have to move office a week on Monday so I'll also be packing up my office - a whole lotta packing!
