...halloween party. Is this any good??

Ive been over halloween before but this was before I had a child and we went to HHN at IOA.

When I go this oct, my ds will be 27 months. My step sis will be 14 and step bro will be 12. Saw the MNSSHP and thought it looks good.

What actaully happens? Is it worth a visit as we go out there on the 23rd Oct for 3 weeks.

Thanks for you help! xx

I would deffintly go I have been twice and I love it.

There is a unique parade with a headless horse man, candy stops and alot of halloween characters out. I love MNSSHP and would recommend any body to go but EVERY ONE !!!!

We have been on our last 2 visits.

There is a parade, a version of the wishes firework show, trick and treat stations and as numbers are limited you can practically walk onto any attraction (especially whilst one of the parades are on - they do it twice).

However in the cold light of day it is difficult to make the argument that it is worth the $60 or so entrance fee especially with the current exchange rate.

we're going this year with my 2 kids. my sis went last year and she had a blast, she came home with tons on candy. i think the extra ticket partys are always worth a visit at least once.

Been to 4 now and would again if we were there for any of the dates.
I think we paid about $45 with AP last year, you can go in from about 4pm thru til Midnight so its almost as many hours as a day ticket but if you go midweek on a quiet day the rides can be walk.
Dressing up makes the evenings a lot more enjoyable, cast members interact with you a lot more.
Worth every penny to me.

Sounds super....my holiday is turning into a very busy one!! Were doing all disney, all universal, all world of discover (excpt wnw and discovery cove) HHN and now this!! Thank god we're going for 3 weeks!! lol

So how much roughly would this cost per adult in £?! xx

we loved it, the parade and fireworks were great and rides were walk on, got to stay on BTM as they was no queues. DD loved collecting candy. We plan on doing it more than once this year.

We love going, and I'm already excited for going this year, and nothing is actually booked yet! haha :lmao:

We've been to Pirate and Princess party and Mickey's Not So Scary, and MNSSHP is much better. The atmosphere is different, and there are many more adults in costume and everyone just seems to be much more into the spirit of things.

The parade is brilliant, with all the characters in Halloween costumes, so something you don't always get to see. The headless horseman riding through MK is a brilliant sight, and then the Hallowishes firework display is another fantastic sight - it's my favourite firework display :)

There are characters everywhere, candy stops all over the place, although early on in the evenings they can be busy. By the end of the night, CMs are throwing candy at you in an attempt to empty their supplies! Were getting handfuls at the beginning of the night, and bag fulls by the end!

There are some good photo ops around - Cinderella's carriage all done up and twinkling, and then you can have one at the Haunted Mansion with the horseless coach outside, and you may just have a guest in your photo!

Definitely worth going to, so if you have the chance, take it!

It depends what days you go. There are premium days (I think 30 & 31 Oct). These were $60 (£43 approx) last year. Other dates $55 (£40).

You get additional discounts if you are AP holders.

we went for the 1st time last year and loved it, the parade was brillaint and the headless horseman is so good.

Hallowishes fireworks was the best I have seen at disney and the candy stops are great, we still have a bag full from last sept!

Thanks, is that via the Uk site?

No they never have before, they will be for sale thru US site. You have option to pay for delivery or do free 'will call' print a voucher and collect tickets when you get there, thats option we always do.

They could add a link to MNSSHP tickets here http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tickets-passes/

or here http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/pa...-events/mickeys-not-so-scary-halloween-party/

but someone will post link in May when they are on sale.
