Mickeys not so scary halloween

Hi everyone,
So glad i found this site its amazing. As a WDW first timer i'm trying to get as much info as I can so i'm question is about mickeys not so scary halloween.

I plan to drag my bf to one of the nights but i'm confused about the times.

Does the part close early to all other guests. Is it like an hour before the party starts. i've read it opens at 7 but that the gates sometimes open at 4.. CONFUSED!!!! How long does the MNSSHP last for. I've read it stays open till 12.

You can start arriving at the party around 4 pm. They start herding the people not attending the party and the park is closed at 7. You are issued a wrist band letting the cast members k ow you are attending the party. The party goes until midnight. They have two parades and the fireworks are just great. We always get dressed up and go trick or treating. It is a lot of fun and it is worth the cost of the ticket. We have gone every year for the last 10 years. The cast members really get involved and the cast members wear make up to look like ghosts. A lot of fun.

Also, just to clarify, if you're already in the park for the day and have a ticket to attend MNSSHP, you don't have to exit and re-enter the park - you can visit an in-park station, show your ticket and receive a wristband.
Party guests can enter from 4pm on a party ticket, and the park closes at 7pm for all non-party guests. The party runs from 7pm - Midnight

Thanks for you reply. definitely clears up my confusion. i thought maybe everyone had to leave and then reenter. glad i don't have to do that... sooooo far away but cant wait.
