Hi Mandy,

M.N.S.S.H.P is fantastic fun. Basically MK is opened from 7:00 or 7:30p.m. can't quite remember to Midnight The park is all done up in spooky halloween fashion, there are trick or treat stations throughout the park, there are two parades led by the headless horseman which needs to be seen to be believed and most of the rides are open. Lots of people dress up in costumes including the adults and even the characters which is great fun especially for the kids but not a must.

I'm not sure you would have a choice of dates when you are going but I'm sure it will most certainly be happening on the 31st.

We really enjoyed this so much so that it was one of the reasons we decided on going back in October and have definitely planned on doing it again this year.

p.s. if you decide to dress up but don't want to spend a fortune check out Walmarts - that's where we bought our costumes from.

Here are some dates found on the WDW site 10, 16, 19, 24, 26, 30, 31 October, 2003 7 p.m. until midnight . We can't wait to go again, we have been twice before now:D It is a great night out.

Does anyone know when the tickets go on sale for this, approx prices & how do you go about booking & paying for it. ie do you phone & pay by credit card, is it done through the internet or is there any other way?

This is the e-mail address I used in 2001 - WDW.Ticket.Inquiries@disney.com

This is the ticket prices for last year, which should give you an idea:

Advance Purchase:

Adult $27.95 plus tax
Child $22.95 plus tax

Day-Of Purchase:

Adult $29.95 plus tax
Child $29.95 plus tax

You can book it on line at the disney site, I think from sometime in April, not sure if you can book it before hand but if I find out I'll let you know. You do need to put it on your credit card.

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: Cannot recommend MNSSHP enough - we went on Sunday 20th last October and this was our only trip into MK. And it was so worthwhile. Every ride was literally walk on . . . couldn't believe it, especially for a Sunday evening. The atmosphere was so special - and the parade with the headless horesman starting it was worth the 45 minute wait (although it didn't feel like it while we were waiting;) ).

We got DD's costume - a 50s diner waitress - in WalMarts for $15. That costume was used once again last night at Drama School - the choice of costumes for all ages and sizes in Walmarts was superb; don't bother looking anywhere else unless you want to pay $60-80 for a Disney costume. (If I knew how to attach a photo of Katie in her costume with MNSHHP in the background I would!! I've tried but to be honest don't know what to do!!).

We thought on the night we'd probably only stay from when it opened at 7pm for a couple of hours - we were one of the last few they had to evict from the park when it closed at midnight:eek: ;)
