Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Questions

in my opinion if you want to do everything than you need to go twice. also remember that your ticket for the event gets you into the MK at 4pm. so between 4-7pm ride some rides and eat something. to meet all the villians after the villian show you probably need to see the show twice. they are only out for a limited time afterwards. we manage 3-4 villians a show to get out pictures taken with.

have fun

where would the line for the villains start? I can only imagine how crowded these shows are

Each villian has an individual line (so if you want to meet them all, you have to queue up each time). The last time I was there, Snow Queen and Maleficent were on the ramps. And all the others were spread out in the middle.

Heading to our first MNSSHP on 10/31 :cool1: and I have some questions -

Does the Ghost Hearse at the HM usually have the Photopass photographer that night as well?

TIA for any answers!

Yes, it usually does. :) The year we went, they superimposed a ghost in the shot! :thumbsup2

I can't find where someone says where snow white and the 7 dwarfs are.
They are the only ones we want to get our pic. with this year.

Anyone know?

Thanks

They meet in Fantasyland. When I met them in 2006, they were right by Dumbo. However, I heard they moved last year (towards the Teacups, I think. But I'm not sure).

It wouldn't be that difficult for Diesney to have a nut free side to the line. It would be very easy to do I think.

sure it would
but then someone would want a line for sugar free because they are diabeteic.
someone else would want one for being alergic to chocolate,
or carmel
or a line for kids under 4 because they shouldn't have hard candy.

sorry but see my point.
it just get ridiculous because there are so many different things people could ask for special treatment for.
it's so much easier for all to say you know what you can and can not eat, just remove what you don't want.

Last year snow white and the dwarfs were right in front of Pooh's Honey Pot. The line for this was HUGE. Basically what I did was waited in line for about 45 minutes and I was the 2nd person in line. They are not out until set times so most people don't realize that they will be coming. Ask the cast members what time they will be appearing so you can arrive early. My DH took our daughter on the teacups and Pooh's honey pot while I waited in line and came back a while before the characters were scheduled to return. Once Snow White and the dwarfs came back, lots and lots of people ran to try and get in line, it was a huge line and got closed quickly. It is a picture only so since we were 2nd in line we were done in no time. This worked out perfectly for us since it was a must do!

It becomes really crowded once they show up, I must have panicked because I accidentally cut one of the dwarfs out of the pictures so we joke about having pics with Snow White and the 6 dwarfs. I think my DH is still mad at me for that one, note the yellow shoe on the left :rotfl:

Two things. We first attended MNSSHP in 2007 and this will be our second time this October. We are coming Columbus Day weekend (Fri - Wed) and I was thinking that the Tuesday party would be the least crowded. We arrive Friday, so I think that would be too much and I heard that last year Columbus Day was sold out. Any thoughts?

Next, we have not yet seen the fairies at Pixie Hollow. They debuted last year right before Halloween I think. I thought they might have been at the party too. I was debating whether to try to see them on a regular park morning at rope drop or be ready for them right at 7 during the party. I know the princesses have their princes with them during the party, and I was wondering whether the fairies did anything different or special that is only during the party.

Do the cast members treat you different if you trick or treat as a solo adult?

What about the characters at meet & greets?

The one problem I ran into on my last trip with some of the characters/handlers was that they assumed that the child in front of me or behind me was with me and it caused some awkward moments.

My co-worker just returned and was really disappointed with the fairies. He said that they were not rude, but just came across as not that interested in being there or not much in character.

jaurban, we're arriving the same day as you and yes we thought Friday (10/9) would be too much and Monday (10/12) would be too crowded. So we chose Tuesday(10/13)-our tickets (cards) arrived in the mail today. This is our first MNSSHP, so we're pumped. :thumbsup2

When I went to mnsshp and mvmcp in 2006, I didn't have any issues with meeting the characters (and I was by myself).

So has anyone purchased tickets for 10/29 or 11/1? They were first on the website, but not available and CM stated that it was incorrect and they were working on taking them off the website. They were removed and now they are back on the website. Our plane lands at 5:15 on the 27th looked like our only option when I called on 5/1.

Can anyone tell me the time it takes with ME from the airport to CSR? Thanks

yikes- thats a lot of money to plunk down if your plane gets off the ground late== if your plane lands at 5:15-- get off the plane-- head to ME to the hotel- get checked in-- its gotta be close to 7pm now if not later. Not to even mention you wont have your luggage- (wont you be weary from traveling?)

MNSSHP tickets allow you to enter at 4pm.

You will be so late for the party.....they are selling Oct 29 and Nov 1 online now so if I were you, I'd go with one of those!! :thumbsup2
