Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Questions

For those of you who have seen Snow White with the dwarfs, what's the best stragegy for minimizing your wait time? How long before 7 do people start lining up? I think I'd rather waste some park time and see them at 7 if possible, maybe lining up at 6?????

Anyone done this before????

I'd like to know, too. Will be taking DGrD(5) to two parties in Oct. She wants to be Snow White, so I agreed to be the Evil Queen (the cheapie costume version - can't wait to see what yours looks like!) - we will make the pic with SW and the Dwarves a major priority that night - I'm also thinking of lining up early - just need to know where!
Second night we will be dressing as Ariel and Ursula - can't wait - MNSSHP is her FAVORITE event at WDW - she listens to the CD in the car constantly!!

Can you buy tickets down there a few days before the party date and still get the advanced ticket prices or is that only if you buy them online before you leave?

Yes, you can. You can buy them right up to the day before and get the advance purchase discount. Just do not wait till the day of.

I got my tickets for Nov 1. Yay! I was wondering if they scale down the party for the last day or if it is presented the same as if it were the first day? Has anyone attended the last day of the event in the past?

They're located just behind the Mad Tea Party, nestled between Pooh's Playful Spot and the Toontown entrance.

The red circled area is the general area where the line forms.

Last year, I couldn't have asked for better luck with meeting Snow White and all of the dwarves. We asked one of the Cast Members that was working with them what time their next appearance would be. We left to do other things, and came back with about 20-30 minutes to spare before the time the CM had told us. We started the line ourselves, but others came and fell into place behind us. We were the first to take our picture for that particular go round.

I"ve seen a few people's snapshots, but never a photopass pic with the 7 dwarfs. Do they not have a photopass photog there? You'd think they would!

Yep, that's the spot where you line up. There is no photopass photographer, just get there early so you can start the line as it gets huge really really fast!

How often do they come out over the course of the night? Is it something like out 30 minutes, gone 30 minutes, out 30 minutes, etc??????

Believe it or not, this photo op was the seed that planted the idea of finally going to Disney at Halloween.

I sew costumes for people so getting away this time of year is murder. I will have HUGE piles of work waiting for me when I get back..... But I have dressed so many others for the parties, that I couldn't stand not having gone myself. I had a customer send me a picture with the 7 dwarfs from the party last year, and I KNEW I was in for this year!

Have you done any from Enchanted? The wedding gown is a bit ornate, but I'd guess that the curtains dress wouldn't be much of a challenge for you.

On another note, I'm waiting on my friends replies as to if they want to do MNSSHP. I really hope so, we would go on Sept 25th and the way the hours work out for us, we'd have to do MK on that Saturday if we don't do MNSSHP. I would love for us all to dress up...it would be fun just for that.

We are hoping to be at MNSSHP Depends if I get this job and can earn extra money for MNSSHP! We thought it would be fun to do this the thurs before our cruise on the Magic! We have done MNSSHP before but I rather go to a special event then go to the Magic on a normal day. The special events are so much nicer! Easier to get on rides, see characters , etc!

Yes, I would love it IF my friends are up for it...we'll see. One of them is in, but I still have to hear from the other two. I make ADRs next Thursday so that's really my "go" day on MNSSHP too.

No. He is not in the show, so he wouldn't be there (the villians there are the villians who are in the Mix and Mingle).
